Great tour with plenty of sites to see! Would recommend. Only caveat is that it’s tough to follow the entirety of the history at times.
Great tour, a very good look at The Romand Forum and worth climbing the 50 metres to the top of Palatine Hill. The Colosseum was the highlight at the end. Bring your own water and food
Overall organized. This was a little too rushed in my opinion. While the tour guide was thorough, she may have been a bit too detailed for the hot Roman sun with hardly any breaks/stops. She was also getting frustrated and impatient, possible due to the heat. At one point, she got annoyed with the group because we were trying to purchase water and that slowed us down too much for her liking, despite the fact that we were all about to pass out.
We had a great tour guide who was very informative, while also being laid-back and going at a comfortable pace. Despite it being at the heat of the day in August, the guide did a great job at maximizing time in the shade and ensuring the comfort of visitors. Doing the tour made access far easier to the Colosseum and Roman Forum without having to worry about tickets or waiting in line.
Scam, no guide$ 350 Canadian when we could have just purchased our own tickets for 100 through the colosseum and had the same experience.
Don't do it like you did, arriving 20 minutes after the tour had started, only one who was scamming was you. For the guided tours, that have a specific starting time, it is required to arrive on time to join the guide.
We had a very knowledgeable guide! We are happy we chose to do this tour because we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the sights on our own. We got a lot of history and facts about the different places. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Rome!
Great tour with lots of interesting information. The tour guides were communicative on the day of to check in with us before the tour and make sure we knew where to go. Make sure you bring photo ID! Got to see all the major stuff and listen to the stories of Ancient Rome. Very cool tour and it’s always nice getting to skip the long lines.
Guide was genuine and great at explaining what we are seeing. Would do it again and loved this tour.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience on this tour. Our guide, Gabriella, was outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the history of Ancient Rome to life with fascinating stories and insights. Her passion for the subject was evident throughout the tour, and she made sure everyone felt included and had the opportunity to ask questions. Visiting the Colosseum and the Roman Forum was unforgettable, and Gabriella made the experience even more special. Highly recommended , if you get Gabriella as your guide, you’re in the best hands! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Booked a tour for 4pm and was told my tour was for 10am even though I already have a tour booked for this morning. Be aware of booking
Dear Fiorella, we did not change your tour time, you booked it for 10am and this is when we were waiting for you. Tripadvisor/Viator is like Booking.com...many agencies are selling their tours and one agency cannot see the reservations that the customer have with another agency, so we could have not known that you have made a reservation for 2 different activities for the same date and time. Instead of blaming us for something we are not responsible, double check next time the details of you bookings to avoid similar issues in the future
