Somos Jerome y Eugenia, compañeros de trabajo y de vida, y será un placer para nosotros guiarlo por esta hermosa ciudad. Descubriremos por qué Trieste se llama la ciudad del viento y la capital no oficial del café. Comenzaremos nuestro viaje en la Piazza Unità d’Italia, una de las plazas más grandes de Europa con vistas al mar, rodeada de magníficos palacios neoclásicos. Pasee por las estrechas calles hasta el antiguo Teatro Romano, un testimonio del pasado antiguo de la ciudad. Subiremos la colina de San Giusto (ascensor disponible) y visitaremos la Catedral, el corazón histórico de la ciudad. Descenderemos por la zona donde una vez estuvo el antiguo gueto judío. Continuaremos hasta el distrito de Borgo Teresiano, con su Gran Canal imperial. Perfecto para cualquiera que quiera experimentar el encanto ecléctico de esta ciudad costera. Podemos adaptar el itinerario a sus intereses y necesidades. Nota: La duración del recorrido incluye el tiempo de caminata.

Comienza tu visita en la plaza que define Trieste
Una de las plazas más animadas de Trieste con bares, restaurantes, tiendas y joyas arquitectónicas.
Veremos un arco romano del siglo I d.C. bien conservado, que contrasta con el paisaje urbano moderno.
Situado en la colina en el corazón del centro histórico, revela los aspectos medievales y antiguos más ocultos de Trieste. Para llegar a él, hay que subir a pie o tomar un ascensor.
Exploraremos el pasado bélico de Trieste a través del conmovedor monumento que conmemora a los soldados caídos de la Primera Guerra Mundial.
Aprecie los pocos vestigios que quedan del antiguo período romano en Trieste con el teatro antiguo.
Uno de los lugares más pintorescos en el corazón del Borgo Teresiano, rodeado de edificios históricos, cafés encantadores y lugares emblemáticos como la iglesia neoclásica de Sant'Antonio Taumaturgo.

Tu guía turístico te recibirá en el vestíbulo del hotel 15 minutos antes de que comience el recorrido. Si ya estás en la ciudad, podemos encontrarnos en la Piazza Unità d’Italia, cerca de la Fuente de los Cuatro Continentes, junto al ayuntamiento.

Jerome is a great tour guide with a passion for Trieste and history! He is a great English speaker (an Aussie, if I remember correctly!) and provided great insight to our stops and was able to work around a funeral procession that blocked some of the tour route (with all respect obviously). We made our way all over the town and felt like we understood the city culture and history much better after our first trip there!
Our guide, Jerome was excellent; very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us a history of Trieste and showed us the old and new town.
We were lucky and pleased to discover Trieste with Eugenia... an already beautiful city has become even more interesting thanks to our guide Eugenia who, with her professionalism and enthusiasm, guided us through the city telling us its story and describing with passion the streets, churches and the most beautiful views. Perfect guided tour to discover Trieste: Eugenia took me to all the emblematic places of the city (museums, churches, historical monuments...), but also to the most secret places, less known to tourists and appreciated by the triestins. She explains the history of the city, as well as its culture, its gastronomy... It is very easy to ask her questions and she gives many recommendations and tips to spend a few days in the city. I highly recommend this guided tour!
