First, the instruction for the meeting place is very vague and the guide is late. Had to call to verify where and when. Even after the call, the instruction is still not clear. Second, I thought this is only for English only. The tour guide had to switch from Spanish to English which takes up some time. She has asthma so she had to catch her breath from time to time. Last, the check-in person is not very friendly. This is my first booking with Viator and I’m not really happy with it.
Dear Rita, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry that your first experience with this activity did not fully meet your expectations. We would, however, like to kindly clarify a few points. After you contacted our operations team by phone, our staff immediately assisted you and, during the call itself, you were able to locate our tour leader, who was already at the meeting point waiting for guests for the guided visit. Regarding the language of the tour, please note that it is indicated in the Additional Information that the activity may be operated in both English and Spanish. We are also sorry to read your comment about the check-in. Our tour leader welcomed you at the beginning of the activity in a polite and kind manner, and we regret if this was perceived differently. Thank you again for your comments, which are always useful for us to improve our guests’ experience. Warm regards
Great tours and the skip the line is so worth going with! A word of advice on the Pisa trip - the bus location is NOT easy to find. Allow yourself a few extra minutes to get there. our Google Maps were deceptive and the area is under construction. The trip to Pisa is great - much more of a site than we were expecting.
Florence is a beautiful city. If you really need to explore suggest don’t go for walking tour with CAF tours in Florence. We took an English tour for Florence but the guide had issues speaking in English, given the tour was also clubbed with Spanish language. The guide was trying best to converse in both languages but remained ineffective. The tour in Florence became really boring with both languages as one had to wait till the other session was done. Find another tour operator who does it in English only as clubbing 2 languages is challenging and very time consuming. Tour of Pisa was very good. The lady was very enthusiastic and made the tour very humorous and exciting for a group of 20 people.
Dear Praneet, let us thank you for having booked one of our activities and shared your experience with us and our common readers. We are really sorry to notice your disappointment regarding our Guided Walking Tour of Florence, one of our best seller Tours lasting 2.5 hours, touching all the most important sights of the city and led by professional multilingual guides with years of experience. With reference to the double language, in our Terms and Conditions and in all our Sales Material, we clearly specify that the local guide service could be provided in two languages. In any case, all our guides are constantly trained to provide the same amount of information in both languages and optimize the timing dedicated to each language, in order to make the tour the most enjoyable, for all participants. Our Best Regards

The tour was good, but it was too long for what you get to see. I think this was based on the fact our tour guide was saying everything twice - English and Spanish. Avoid multiple language tours if you can.

This was an excellent tour. Both of our tour guides were knowledgeable and pleasant. They were prompt with the meeting times.
Definitely would recommend.

We enjoyed both tours! The walking tour was a relaxing walk through town to see the amazing sights! The afternoon tour of Pisa was a perfect mix of touring the sights and of free time to enjoy taking in the area.

This was a great way to see two spectacular tours into one day. The morning walking tour of Florence was great--our guide Lucia DeLuca was terrific....very knowledgeable and pleasant. she tailored the tour to our interests, and made the city of Dante, Michelangelo, and the Medici's come alive. Since we had seen the Duomo the day before, she showed us other fascinating churches. This was one of the best walking tours I have been on. The Pisa tour was more low key, and shorter one hour walking tour compared to 3 of Florence, but really, one hour on a day with 41 degree temperatures 104 for US was more than enough
