Itinerario

Guide very knowledgeable, skipped the lines and great things to see.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that your guide's knowledge helped make your visit to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel even more memorable. We're also glad you appreciated the skip-the-line access and all the incredible sights along the way. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future!
We booked at 10:30. The tour operator changed the time to 8:30, citing a transit strike. The tour guide was fine, but the tour appears to have been cut short because we had to wait for others who apparently did not get the message about rescheduling.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the guide and the overall experience. We would also like to clarify that the change from 10:30 AM to 8:30 AM was made specifically in the best interest of our guests. Due to a nationwide public transportation strike affecting Rome that day, we proactively adjusted the tour schedule to help our customers avoid disruptions, reach the meeting point more easily, and ensure that the tour could operate as smoothly as possible. To make sure everyone was informed, we sent the updated information to all participants both via WhatsApp and through the Viator chat system. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, some guests did not receive or see the notifications in time, which resulted in delays while the group was being reunited. We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. However, we would like to emphasize that the schedule change was implemented solely to protect our guests' experience and to minimize the impact of circumstances entirely beyond our control. Thank you again for your understanding and for choosing our tour. We hope to welcome you back to Rome in the future. Kind regards, The Team
We were informed that the tour was designed for wheelchair users. It wasn't. Guide sent us to an elevator that ended another place the rest of the escort went. We didn’t get a tour and had to find our own way out of the museum. Lost 900 kroner
Takk for tilbakemeldingen.
We were excited to visit Rome for the first time and made sure that we booked at trip to see the Vatican and Sistine chapel in advance. We booked a trip for 9am. The day before the trip we received a message via WhatsApp for the tour starting at 8.30am with a meeting point. We noticed that the time had been brought forwards but assumed that was just to make sure everyone was there on time. What I didn't notice was that in the middle of paragraph 5 of a 13 paragraph text message, it stated that the meeting time was actually 8am. So we turned up a 08.15am, thinking that we were 45 minutes early, and found several WhatsApp messages (which I silence while on holiday) asking where we were. We called the number and they explained our mistake and said that we had to go to the Vatican musuem entrance straight away to catch up with our group. We did so and spent a frantic 10 minutes trying to locate our group amongst the hundreds of people at the entrance. Unable to locate our group or get through to our guide, we were eventually informed at 8.30 by the tour office that we would have missed our slot. So we lost our chance to see the Sistine chapel and £250. This could have been avoided by A) me reading my text messages more clearly, B) naming a tour that starts at 8am, the 8am tour and not the 9 am tour, C) calling a customer directly on their mobile if they do not respond to WhatsApp.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. We completely understand your disappointment, as visiting the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel is often a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Please allow us to clarify: we always do our best to promptly inform our guests of any schedule changes that are communicated to us by the Vatican Museums’ management — sometimes even just a few hours before the tour. As stated clearly in the tour description and on the voucher, the entry time can vary by up to 30 or 60 minutes. For this reason, we specifically request a telephone contact at the time of booking, so we can reach our guests as quickly and effectively as possible when such changes occur. We greatly value your suggestions, and we will certainly take them into account to further enhance our communication process. We are always open to advice that can help us make the experience smoother for our future guests. Once again, we regret that your visit did not go as planned, and we appreciate your constructive feedback. Kind regards, Stefano

JULIANNA IS THE BEST! Our tour was so informative and enjoyable thanks to our guide, Juliana! We have never had a more knowledgeable guide in our many tours over the last 30 years. We received a wealth of information.
Thank you so much for your wonderful words! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such an informative and enjoyable experience with Juliana. She truly is an exceptional guide, and we’re delighted that her knowledge and passion made your tour so memorable. We hope to welcome you back for more unforgettable experiences in Rome! Best regards Vatican Guided Tour team
The Vatican experience was amazing. The tour at the gate costs only €40/person, and while our guide was pleasant, all he really did was help us skip the line. Honestly, if you can wait, the wait wasn’t that bad, skipping the line might save you an hour. After getting us the tickets (which you can 100% on your own), he handed us off to one of the Vatican’s own guides. My advice: DONT waste money on this overpriced tour, just go directly online and buy the tickets yourself and just go an hour earlier, again the guide was supplied by the Vatican museum so this isn’t worth it.
When a review becomes a Joke!!! “We would like to clarify that we are an accredited agency with the Vatican Museums and an authorized reseller. Every year, we are assigned a limited number of prepaid tickets, which allows us to guarantee our customers access with advance reservations, avoiding lines that can sometimes last up to 3 hours. In addition to saving time, we provide dedicated assistance and the certainty of being able to plan the visit without the risk of tickets being sold out. Tickets can indeed be purchased directly, if you find availability and take the time to do so, but not everyone has the time or the familiarity to manage that process. Furthermore, your booking was made through a travel agency platform, which applies additional fees beyond our own prices. You are the classic example of someone who seeks convenience but is unwilling to pay for it. We welcome constructive feedback, but it is important to underline that our service goes far beyond simply ‘skipping the line’.”
This company brings you to the Vatican museum, helps you skip the lines and then hands you over to a official Vatican tour guide, so you get put with a other group. There is so much to see at the museum, once the tour is done you can go back and see other parts that weren't highlighted in the museum
Thank you for your feedback. Our service is designed to make your Vatican experience as smooth and time-efficient as possible by assisting with skip-the-line entry and then introducing you to an official licensed Vatican guide, as required for guided tours inside the Museums. Being part of a small or shared group allows you to benefit from the guide’s in-depth knowledge while covering the main highlights. As you mentioned, your ticket remains valid after the tour, so you’re free to explore at your own pace and revisit any sections that weren’t covered. We appreciate your observations and hope the combination of guided insight and independent exploration made your visit both informative and enjoyable.
I wish to complement on the Vatican Museums tour guide. Margot (if I remember her name correctly), a gorgeous tiny lady of an Indian descent, carrying a tour-guide-flag with No 173 - thank you for the mood you created during this 2-hour tour, for your ability to motivate tired and disengaged teenagers, for making an individual connection with everyone in the group. Best of luck!

Very good tour with our guide, ah I forget her name but she was really great. There’s no way I could have navigated all of that alone in terms of figuring out where to go as well as the history! Great and extensive tour - learned a lot
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and that your guide made the experience both smooth and enriching—even if her name slipped your mind! 😊 Navigating such a vast and historic site can definitely be overwhelming, and we’re so glad you felt well taken care of. We hope to see you again on another tour soon!
