Great tour! She made it very fun and interesting for the teens and grandparents. Her knowledge in history and art was great for those in the group wanting in depth information. A must do!
The tour guide Chiara was super nice to us and the kids. She had fun games for them and explained things really well. The kids were really enjoying it. I would definitely book another tour with her.
Veronica the guide was amazing with our 10 year old daughter and 13 year old son on our St Marc’s Square and Doge’s Palace tour. We were all engaged and captivated for two hours and we learned a lot about Venice and its history. Veronica was full of energy and coordinated scavenger hunts and quizzes complete with prizes for our kids. We will never forget this tour as a highlight of our visit. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone!
Carla from Pinocchio made the booking process easy and seamless. Valentina, our guide from Doge’ Palace and St. Marks Square far surpassed our expectations. She captivated our children (9, 13, 14) with her knowledge and engaging storytelling. Her kindness shone through when our daughter grew tired—Valentina’s thoughtful gift brought a smile back to her face. In fact, our daughter insisted we leave a glowing review for Valentina! After the tour, Valentina even joined us for gelato, offering fantastic tips for the rest of our Venice stay. We cannot praise Valentina enough and wholeheartedly recommend her services
Chiara was amazing! She kept our kids super engaged through a lot of facts and walking. They had so much fun and learned A LOT. Great tour for our 4 year olds and us grown ups. Chiara is knowledgeable, fun, kind, and helpful with local info. Would take other tours with her when we return to Italy.
Having younger kids it is always exciting for us to find a kid geared tour. We get all the history and information we are looking for but the kids are entertained as well. This was a great tour for all of us, 7 people, ages 8 to 72!
We loved this tour!! We went to Venice with our 3 kids, aged 13, 11, and 8. This was the perfect tour for a family. Chiara's children are similar ages to mine and she knew exactly what would keep them entertained. She had a book with pictures to illustrate the points she was telling us. She also came prepared with gummy candies, a fan, tissues, and everything else our kids might need. She said she had a "Mary Poppins bag" for kids. She gave us plenty of very interesting information, but at a level the kids could understand and enjoy. I highly recommend this tour for families!! Also, it was wonderful to skip all the lines, which were very long.
Valentina is amazing! She is very engaging, smart and is great with kids. We have a 5 year old that was jet lagged and tired and she did an awesome job with him. She entertained and educated our 14 year old. She is a gem! This tour is worth every penny.
Valentina was an absolute delight! This tour was just what my family (myself, husband, 3 kids - ages 9, 13 and 15) needed to begin our visit in Italy. We learned a lot and saw some beautiful sites. My family especially liked when we toured away from the crowds and the perfect restaurant Valentina helped us find for lunch. I would absolutely recommend Valentina to families traveling with children.
I never went on any guided tour but just went by myself as cheaper and see just as much! I could not find anything for Mark's Square so had to use this one! I first went here in 1989 and then again in June 2022. It is known as Piazza San Marco in Italian, and it is the principal public square in Venice
