Opiniones(15)
The tour was not as advertised. It lasted only 2 hours and only made it to a couple of the locations listed on the itinerary. Access was limited due to road closures - should have been notified that trip was not available due to this. Water was not provided and the transportation was not luxurious.
Thanks for your review.
We did a private tour of Washington, DC, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Our tour guide was overly political, continually sharing his personal opinions even after we asked him to stop. We booked this tour to enjoy the city and learn about its history—not to listen to political commentary. The tour itself had the potential to be great, but the guide really ruined the day for us. Additionally, the van was dirty inside, which made the experience even less enjoyable. With a different guide and a clean vehicle, this tour could have been wonderful. Driver/tour guide: Bobby
Thank you for your business we appreciate you for taking the time to share your experience. We tried our best to get the best guide but majority our independent hence this occurs once a while.
The tour was advertised as a guided tour with several stops at the monuments. There was no tour guide. This was a van ride around the city with only two main stops. Not very educational for the teenagers.
Thanks for your business ,we value your feedback .however we disagree with your opinion. Your tour had a guide that has over 20yrs experience and it’s not feasible that he would drive you around town for 3hours with only two main stops.
Bernard was absolutely amazing! He knew exactly where to go, gave us the chance to get out take pictures and was always there when we were ready to continue on our tour. We saw everything we wanted to see, if it was not for this tour we would have missed so much of DC. He had information to share and historical information that was relevant to all of us.
Thanks for your business and review.
The ONLY reason this tour gets a star is because the tour guide was a very nice and pleasant person. Now for the reality. We were a group of 12. The van that showed up was old and dirty on the exterior. Nothing special inside; however, the vehicle's shocks were spent and anyone who was sitting in the two last rows most definitely were feeling it. I had to move as I already have back problems. Nothing close to luxury. We did not receive the bottled water as stated and not even after making the request of the driver (who said someone would be brining it.) The driver, and I continue to refer to him as such because this was NOT a tour, was very knowledgeable but most of us found it very difficult to understand him due to a combination of his accent and facemask. Not worth the time or money.
Not Accurate:We stand by our Products as Advertised.
The title and description of this tour is misleading. We were a group of twelve and thought the vehicle accommodated our group size it was definitely NOT a luxury vehicle. The group in the back suffered for lack of shock absorbers. Water for all was supposed to be included for the passengers but was not provided - even after I inquired of the driver. The description also lists “private guides tour”, and though the driver accommodated our request to customize the tour he was very difficult to understand with the face mask and thick accent. There was no speaker so those in the back of the van could not hear at all. Definitely NOT worth the $100 per person.
NOT ACCURATE. We strongly object to the mischaracterization of this review. 1) Vehicle used for the tour was a 2019(15pax) Ford Transit in very Good Conditions. 2) Driver/Guide accommodates the request to customize the tour. 3) Guide’s are vetted and professional.Even though we come from different background, the Guide in this case speaks fluent English. 4) At every stop on the tour ,guide gave an oral and accurate history, even though some in the group didn’t participate. 5) Even though the group had a 3 hour tour,Guide spent and extra 30 minutes dropping the group at two different locations at the end of the tour. 6) The tour is PRIVATE because it caters to the group alone and not shared. 7)Vehicle was thoroughly cleaned in and out and inspected before leaving base for the tour. 8)We stand by our Products as advertised.
Great way to start our trip in DC! Our tour guide, Tunde, was helpful and flowed with our family. Our kids were so excited to see ALL the sites so quickly after settling in. Perfect way to see it ALL quickly and without stress.
Thanks for choosing our company,we appreciate your business and review.
The Washington City Day Tour was excellent. Bobby was excellent tour guide. Over 200 years of history in 4 hours well worth the money. Only challenge was the heat!!!!
Thanks for your review and business
My family, including two elementary kids, took the three hour tour today and I can tell you that Shiraz nailed it. He helped my mother with her personal folding wheelchair multiple times and knew where the ramps were to various sites. We had a long wishlist and were able to complete all of those landmarks along with many others. Shiraz is incredibly knowledgeable of the DC area and has an incredible memory for details. My favorite part of the tour was how he’d specifically call out to the kids in the back seat and tell them important and interesting things to know and see. He even stopped by the Einstein statue and let the kids rub the statue’s nose which, people say helps kids get good grades. He was quick to add that hard work is what is needed too. He also made sure the kids were safe during the photo op. We felt this tour was well suited for our family of five and we never felt rushed. The van was spacious, very clean, and without smells. We brought along our own car seats for the kiddos and had no trouble installing them. Shiraz pointed out other places that we said we want to visit tomorrow and he helped us plan the route. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for your business and support
This was a fantastic tour. The five of us were shown all the monuments downtown, via private luxury van. Tunde was a great tour host and very knowledgeable. We were never rushed and were able to spend time at each stop to take pictures and read monument information. I highly recommend it!
Thanks for your support.
