Mattia was our tour guide. He was excellent! The tour was just for my husband and I. It was perfect. We could ask questions about anything. Mattia was very knowledgeable about the history and various rooms of the Castel Sant’Angelo. I loved the personal experience we received. I would definitely recommend seeing this place and using Mattia.

We had a fabulous tour with Virginia! We felt very VIP spoiled as we were the only people on the tour in Sunday. She very knowledgeable, she spoke wonderful English and really took the time to give excellent pointers on the location. Loved the Pope escape passage and all the explanations on the different Popes and timelines of the place. Also was very surprised to see an Bvlgari Jewelry exhibit inside with priceless jewels from their Hollywood movie classic collection. Rate 10+

I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was amazing and full of facts, the tour was very interesting. A must is to sit in the outdoor restaurant after the tour and enjoy the amazing views of Rome from atop the castle.
This was worth every cent! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the castle. She kept us entertained throughout the tour. I’m not even a history person but her stories about life in the castle and how the space evolved over the years- how the different spaces were used- so descriptive and entertaining. She also offered a lot of helpful information about the local area, getting around and tips to avoid crowds. Highly recommend!
