Putrajaya es una ciudad en Malasia, al sur de Kuala Lumpur. Es conocida por su arquitectura de finales del siglo XX, incluida la Mezquita de Putra, hecha de granito de color rosa con una cúpula rosa. Cerca está la inmensa Perdana Putra, de cúpula verde, que contiene el complejo de oficinas del primer ministro. La primera parada es uno de los siete puentes en Putrajaya, que es el más elegante. El puente de cable de 240 m presenta un diseño futurista que toma prestada la forma de un velero. El puente Seri Wawasan es visible desde muchos puntos panorámicos de la ciudad.
El lago Putrajaya es un lago ubicado en el centro de Putrajaya, Malasia. Este lago artificial de 650 hectáreas está diseñado para actuar como un sistema de enfriamiento natural para la ciudad y también para recreación, pesca, deportes acuáticos y transporte acuático.
El granito teñido de rosa le da a la mezquita de Putra su icónico tono rosa, una elegancia que se refleja tan notablemente en el interior como en el exterior. Construida junto al lago en 1997, la mezquita puede acomodar hasta 15,000 fieles. Los visitantes se detenían para tomar fotografías con este hito sofisticado, que se inspiró en las influencias malaya y del Medio Oriente.
Este imponente edificio se encuentra en la cima de la colina principal de Putrajaya, atrayendo la atención con su cúpula verde de estilo palaciego y paredes de piedra. Con una combinación de arquitectura islámica y moderna, el complejo de oficinas es donde trabajan los ministros y altos funcionarios. No está abierto a los visitantes, pero aún se puede admirar su grandeza desde el exterior.
Una de las mejores maneras de ver los lugares de interés de la ciudad es tomar un crucero turístico de 45 minutos durante el día o la noche en un cómodo crucero con aire acondicionado de 76 plazas. Paseos en barco estilo góndola también están disponibles.
Seri Perdana es la residencia oficial del Primer Ministro de Malasia, ubicada en Putrajaya, Malasia.
La Mezquita de Hierro (o la Mezquita Tunku Mizan Zainal Abidin) es otra maravilla arquitectónica que vale la pena visitar. Construido principalmente de acero, la arquitectura de "malla de alambre" se inspira en los diseños chinos y alemanes. A diferencia de otras mezquitas en Malasia, no hay minaretes que se utilizan para pedir oraciones. Desde lejos, parece que está hecho de metal o vidrio.
Diseñado en 2005 para marcar el comienzo del nuevo milenio, este es el primer monumento que se construirá en Putrajaya. La pasarela que gira alrededor del monumento ilustra la historia de Malasia, los paneles describen eventos importantes en el país. Hay una cápsula del tiempo en la base del monumento que se abrirá en 2020. A medida que avanzas por las rampas del Monumento al Milenio, puedes ver vistas panorámicas de la costa.
Istana Melawati es el segundo palacio nacional del Yang di-Pertuan Agong de Malasia en Putrajaya después del Istana Negara en Kuala Lumpur. Sirve como un refugio real para el Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Overall, this tour was a bit disappointing. The main reason we booked the Putrajaya City Tour was to visit and go inside the Pink mosque, however we were not informed at the time of booking that on Fridays it is closed to visitors until after 3pm due to prayers. As a result, we were unable to enter the mosque , which was frustrating as this was the highlight of the tour for us. If this was communicated to us we could have chosen another time to visit. The rest of the tour was fairly average. It was nice to see parts of the city and surrounding areas, but it didn’t make up for missing the main experience we had booked for. That said, the guide was friendly and informative, and did their best to provide information throughout the tour.
The driver was lovely but this "tour" is just a way for the company to scam tourists. Calling it a tour in the title is a lie, it is essentially an overpriced taxi which you could organise your self for a fraction of the cost. Do not do this. Also made very uncomfortable by the driver having to take compulsory photos of me at different places to send his boss. Not female solo traveller friendly.

Great experience to have. The driver was on time, the vehicle was very clean, with air conditioning. The driver was very clear and very explicit. The experience was rewarding, we enjoyed it very much. The only thing I think about improving would be to increase the visit time to the sites "putra mosque" and "perdona putra", because the walking time to reach these sites is already long enough from the parking lot.

Driver was 30 mins late, could barely understand each other. Said he was just a driver and didnt even tell us where he was taking us, we had to Google it once we could understand what he was saying. Basically what youre paying is a ride to some of the places listed on the tour and you have to figure out the rest. Then took us to the botanic garden which wasn't even listed in the stops of the tour and said to just go walk around. Paid for a car for 4 people and we were squeezed in the back seat. It was just a bad experience overall. The architecture we did see was beautiful.
Had very good experience with driver Raj from the tour company assigned by Viator. Very helpful with the photo shooting and knowledgeable. Only issue was that the itinerary given to Raj by his tour company differed to that sold by Viator, ie 15 min stop at one mosque (masjid Tuanku Mizan) and the visit to the Moroccan was not on the list provided to Raj. There seems to be a problem with communication between Viator and the contracted tour company.

The Guide did not show up, and only bothered to let us know 15min after the tour was supposed to start. They used the fact that we changed the time of the tour 24 hours before the start as an excuse. Very poor excuse since rescheduling was confirmed. Extremely unprofessional to say the least.
It wasn't to my complete liking, a driver took me to the city, I don't know if I was a guide, he left me 2 hours to meet and just told me that was the mosque and the jabatan perdana, that I could go down and up in one of the boats that run the canal Then he took me to the steel mosque and there fortunately a volunteer guide helped me a lot with the history of the place
