Nuestro conductor lo recogerá alrededor de las 9:00 a.m. para la salida de la mañana y a las 12:30 p.m. para la salida de la tarde y luego lo trasladará al Village. Monsopiad Cultural Village, el único pueblo cultural en Sabah. Este pueblo cultural se abrió en memoria de la gran y legendaria Monopía de Guerreros Kadazan y se construyó en la misma tierra donde vivía y deambulaba Monsopiad hace unos tres siglos. Está dirigido por los descendientes directos de Monsopiad, y sus historias son tan vívidas que uno puede sentir la presencia del guerrero desaparecido. A su llegada, se sirve una bebida de bienvenida (vino de arroz local) en el pueblo. Luego, únete al guía local en una visita guiada donde el guía te llevará a la Casa del Cráneo, donde se encargarán de los trofeos de caza de cabezas de Monsopiad en el pueblo. Le dirán todo lo que siempre quiso saber sobre la caza de cabezas. Más que ser un museo, la Aldea Cultural Monsopiad tiene como objetivo documentar, revivir y mantener viva la cultura y las tradiciones de la gente de Kadazan. También puede disfrutar de los bailes culturales en los que también puede participar. Traslado de regreso al hotel. Después de terminar el recorrido, lo dejamos en su hotel.

I sort of expected this to be a big tourist trap, but it wasn't. Even though there were many people going through the complex, the guides all knew how to space out the groups. Everyone was so friendly and the guides were knowledgeable and interesting. And the meal was delicious with many great choices. It was a great time!
There are 2 similar villages on the island, chose this one and did not regret, fully immersed themselves in the history of the island, tried shooting with bamboo sticks, learned to light a fire and walk on coconuts. Incredible tour with a tour guide, there is a beautiful suspension bridge, quite picturesque. After the tour, they gather people and show a performance, and then you can even take part, it was really cool. There was a problem that no taxi came, but the villagers called us a taxi. There is not a big store attached to the store in it many interesting souvenirs, which later you will not find anywhere in town. They also made tastings of local drinks and food that the locals ate. Highly recommended for visit
What a wonderful visit to this amazing space with our incredibly knowledgeable guide, Claire. Right from the start, where you announce your arrival by hitting the gong, to the end where you are entertained with music and dance, guests are immersed in past customs, food, drink, and games. Thank you for the experience. I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to spend a lovely few hours in Kota Kinabalu.
The problem with the tours in Kota Kinabalu is that they act like a transfer company. No communication until the day of the trip, no comments about the experience and just drop off and pickup. Use grab instead. I didnt like the service provided by the company but cultural villages are great. Must visit.
Great driver /guide. Picked us up at cruise terminal. Enjoyed the drive and cultural village experience - we did not lose our heads (LOL). Driver also stopped so my wife could make a purchase on the way back to the ship.
House of skulls was very factual. The food & rice wine tasting was much appreciated. Perhaps the dogs could be trained not to bark at visitors.
