Esta excursión VIP en tierra compartida a Roma cuenta con un servicio de recogida y devolución en el muelle, un conductor profesional de habla inglesa y un máximo de 8 pasajeros. Después de un viaje de 80 minutos desde el muelle, comenzará su recorrido por la Ciudad Eterna.
Dos mil años de fascinante historia cobran vida en el Coliseo, la antigua arena romana donde se desarrollaban las luchas de gladiadores. El Coliseo es una asombrosa proeza de ingeniería y un testimonio de la brillantez de la ingeniería de la Antigua Roma.
El Arco de Constantino es uno de varios arcos triunfales de la Antigua Roma, ubicado en la plaza a las afueras del Coliseo. Su ubicación fue importante en la antigüedad, conectando el área del Foro Romano con los principales complejos de entretenimiento y baños públicos del centro de Roma.

Lo creas o no, la Fontana de Trevi todavía es alimentada por un antiguo acueducto: el Aqua Virgo, construido en el año 19 a. La elaborada fuente barroca de Bernini, una obra maestra de figuras míticas en travertino, es la fuente más reconocible del mundo.
La Basílica de San Pedro se encuentra al otro lado del río Tíber desde el centro histórico de Roma. I can not speak highly enough about Luccio and this experience! We were met at the dockside beside our cruise ship and Luccio brought us to the most amazing viewpoints around Rome. He was able to park right beside all the main attractions that we wanted to visit (the Colosseum, the Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Vatican, the Pantheon and he also brought us to other places that we had never even heard of before) and gave us time to go and look around, meeting us at the car with iced water and air conditioning, which was worth it's weight in gold in 40 degree heat! He was extremely professional and knew every little side street around Rome. He also brought us to a lovely, family-run Italian restaurant for lunch, away from all the other tourists... delicious! I really, really appreciated everything you did for us Luccio, thank you so much! It was a pleasure and a privilege to be shown around your hometown with you.

With Rome’s distance from the port, this small group tour is the way to go! We really enjoyed our day with Federico! He was an excellent driver, showing us “alternate routes” (hee-hee) to many places. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites and Rome’s history without overwhelming us with too many facts and details. His recommendation for lunch was fabulous! We highly recommend taking this tour; we are definitely glad we did!

Experience could have been better. Our driver/guide did not offer any history information and/or didn’t communicate about a location/site until we were practically past it. Didn’t realize we missed a few things around the coliseum until we had left because he wasn’t forthcoming with information. Where he took us for lunch was amazing. Then we were only supposed to be at St. Paul’s cathedral for an hour, he said 2 hours. We didn’t want to wait 2 hours as we just wanted a pic outside, had no interest in going in, but the other group with us did. So, we took and paid for a taxi to take us back to port. Next time we do a tour like this, we will do it with just our group. We spent more time today waiting for the other people in our van than we were at some sites. For what we paid, should have been more accommodating for both groups. This was supposed to be a highlights tour, not a detailed tour of sites.

As described in the service details, our English-speaking driver provides live commentary onboard during transit between stops. While the driver is not a licensed walking guide and therefore cannot accompany guests on foot at each site, they do provide clear instructions and orientation before guests explore independently. Regarding the stop at St. Peter’s Basilica, the timing at each location may vary slightly depending on traffic, group pace, and operational conditions on the day. Since this was a shared experience, the schedule also needed to accommodate the interests of all participants in the vehicle. We understand that shared tours may not be ideal for travelers seeking a more personalized pace or the flexibility to skip certain stops. In that case, a private tour would indeed be the more suitable option, as it allows full customization of the itinerary and timing based solely on your group’s preferences. Great day with Ricardo. He made sure we got to see all of the highlights. Due to passenger van we could get so much closer than in a bus so less walking to the sites. He was knowledgeable and entertaining.
