De 8:30 a 9:00 Nuestro guía y conductor lo recogerán en el hotel. El primer destino es la colina Vong Canh. Desde lo alto de la poética colina Vong Canh, el paisaje de Hue está en tus ojos. Aquí se le presentará Hue y el budismo en Hue. ¡Con serenidad y aire limpio, todo lo que se necesita es una respiración profunda y una taza de té en la mañana fresca es un gran comienzo para el recorrido!
Escondido dentro de un bosque de pinos durante casi 200 años, el templo Tu Hieu ha sido una historia icónica y emotiva de la piedad filial de Nhat Dinh bajo la dinastía Nguyen. El guía turístico lo presentará al templo, así como al conocido Maestro Zen, Thich Nhat Hanh, mientras deambula por este lugar y ve sus alrededores pacíficos. Te unirás al canto, una actividad regular en el templo de Tu Hieu, que te acerca de cerca al budismo Mahayana dominante en Vietnam.
14:00 Después del almuerzo, salida hacia el templo Huyen Khong, uno de los raros templos del budismo Theravada en Hue. We had excellent guide who was knowledgeable and spoke very good English. The conversation with the Buddhist monk was really interessant he took a lot of time to talk to us.
The day was spent visiting Tu Hieu Pagoda where Thich Nhat Han began his monkhood and later returned after his exile in France to live out the remainder of his life, there was also a visit to the adjoining abby. Lunch was prepared by the grand-daughter of one of the Chef's of the Imperial Palace and it was exquisite. We visited Thien Mu Pagoda and Bao Quoc Temple, the oldest in Hue where sits 4 Venerable Monks. My guide was kind, knowledgeable and everything was well planned. This tour soothed my soul and deepened my appreciation for Buddhism in Vietnam. Restour is a special tour company, Thank You.

I Nam provided me an intimate tour of the way that Buddhism manifests itself in Hue and its environs. We met early in the morning, and he brought me to a beautiful secluded spot to share tea and the Bodi Dharma. Nam provided me with much clarification that I was in need of a Buddhist practitioner. We ventured forth and visited Thieu Temple. There we had another pleasant conversation amid a welcoming community and natural beauty. I was, on two other occasions, able to visit the temple on my own, so a real highlight was visiting a remote Theravada Temple where I was able to mediate in a sensitively decorated Pagoda. There, I learned the art of calligraphy and was treated to a piece of original calligraphy from one of the monks that captioned "Happiness is the Present Moment." I concluded the tour as a very grateful, and spiritually satisfied, person. Nam and I also made Spring Rolls together. I am fortunate enough to now being able to call Nam a good life-long friend.
