6,7,8,9 am comenzamos su recorrido por Alejandría, la segunda ciudad más grande de Egipto, capital de Egipto durante casi mil años. Alejandría fue fundada por Alejandro Magno, que tiene una atmósfera más mediterránea que de Medio Oriente y es famosa. por sus restos romanos.
Su primera parada en esta ciudad histórica son las catacumbas, que son el cementerio romano más grande que consta de tres niveles excavados en la roca del siglo I o II.
El "Pilar de Pompeyo", también conocido como la columna conmemorativa más venerada de Egipto, se erige como un símbolo de importancia histórica. Fabricada con granito rojo macizo, esta colosal estructura alcanza una asombrosa altura de aproximadamente 28 metros, mientras que su base cuenta con un impresionante diámetro de 2,7 metros. Adornando la parte superior del lado occidental se encuentra una inscripción escrita en el elegante idioma griego. También reconoce los monumentales esfuerzos de Póstumo, el estimado prefecto de Egipto, quien supervisó la construcción de este magnífico monumento. Our tour to Alejandria was an absolutely wonderful experience, especially as a couple traveling together. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing my husband and me to fully relax and enjoy the day. Ahmed was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared fascinating insights while making us feel comfortable and cared for throughout the journey. Also took great pictures of us. Meanwhile, Maged ensured a smooth, safe, and pleasant ride, which made a big difference in how enjoyable and stress-free the trip felt. We had a memorable time in Alexandria because we have the best tour guide Ehab Mehana and our driver Maged. We were picked up from our hotel and drove about 3 hours to reach our destination. Ehab is sensitive to our needs, giving us time for toilet or coffee breaks. He has very good command of the English language. He didn’t rush us in any place , he gave us enough time to explore and even volunteered to take our pictures. He is very knowledgeable and can answer all our questions. Best of all a very patient guide with many years of experience. It shows how much he is enjoying his work . By the end of the day he is like a family to us .Hope to see him again someday . We had a wonderful trip to Alexandria with our driver, Shadi. He was punctual, professional, and very friendly throughout the day. The car was comfortable, and he drove safely, which made the long drive very pleasant. Shadi speaks excellent English, which made communication very easy and helped everything run smoothly. He was patient at each stop and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable while visiting places like the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The travel to Alexandria while long (2.5 hours) , it was quite smooth. We got to see all the key sites (the catacombs , the citadel, the library and the Pompeii column) and Fady our guide was quite helpful and patient.

I only booked the driver. The driver Karim is friendly and responsive. He drove safely and took us to different points at Alexandria, and allowed us some free time to explore. He also took us to a seafood restaurant for lunch. Thank you for arranging everything.

A really disappointing day, the driver to Alexandria took 5 hours due to fog and when we arrived the tour was cut short so we could get back to Cairo. There was no discussion regarding the tour being cut short and theee was no reason for us to be back in Cairo at 5pm. I felt the whole experience was a rip off and couldn’t recommend this to anyone.
