Conecta el castillo medieval tardío de Verona con la orilla izquierda del Adige. Casi fue destruido en un bombardeo y luego completamente reconstruido luciendo exactamente similar al original.

Es una elegante construcción del siglo I d.C. del arquitecto romano Vitruvio, que celebra la gloria de la gens Gavia, una importante familia romana de Verona.

La casa de Romeo es un palacio medieval en el centro de Verona. Hasta principios del siglo XIV fue el hogar de la familia Montecchi que, según leyendas y textos literarios, era la familia de Romeo.El edificio es privado, habitado, y solo podemos verlo desde el exterior.
Es la plaza más grande de Verona, está llena de numerosos cafés y restaurantes, junto con varios edificios encantadores.
Es el cementerio de Scaligeri. Además de varios sarcófagos, encontramos los tres maravillosos arcos construidos para Cangrande I, Mastino II y Cansignorio.
Fue el Foro, centro de la vida de la ciudad durante la época romana. El centro de la plaza contiene los monumentos que simbolizan a los diferentes gobernantes de Verona: el más famoso es la fuente, construida durante el gobierno de Scaligeri.
La Piazza dei Signori fue el antiguo centro de poder en Verona. Una gran estatua del famoso poeta italiano Dante Alighieri domina la plaza desde 1865 y le dio el sobrenombre de “Piazza Dante”.

It was difficult to understand the tour guide who was Italian and gave the tour in English. He showed us basic historical sites with a little explanation. You could probably read up on sites to see on your own.

Guide never showed up to the walking tour. Called the office after 15 minutes of waiting, they stated the person had an emergency. It would have been nice for the office to let us know so that we didn’t have to travel to the city for nothing.
