Itinerario

Great manatee boat tour

It was just the two of us and the captain. the boat was clean and high performing. We saw two to three manatees. The trip around the whole body of water was great. Our captain was awesome. The tour took 1.5 hours exactly. There was a lot of other boat traffic, but our Captain handled it like a champ. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to go out on the water and see the environment/animals.

Enjoyable adventure!

The enrollment was easy with a friendly person. All the people at the shop were courteous and competent. John , our Captain and guide, was knowledgeable, a great navigator. He had great stories about Kings Bay and facts of the wildlife we saw. He was able to let us see several manatees. He and the other captains communicated with each other for all to see the wildlife! Great

Our captain John was awsome for my group of friends he was friendly and knowledgeable he also made sure we saw a manatee ! Which was awsome as they are very little in July! My 10 month old baby also enjoyed the ride she took a nice relaxing nap the breeze felt super nice for the boat was not overly crowded all yhe staff was friendly! But the meet up location was odd as it directed me to the old location and they did NOT have the shuttle to the current address which I had to drive there but once we arrived everything was smooth they shuttled me and my party to the boat and gave us a yummy local ice cream shop that was DELICIOUS!

Knowledgeable Guide & Wonderful Family Experience

John was incredibly personable and knowledgeable, making our experience both enjoyable and educational. We saw manatees, a wide variety of water birds, and plenty of fish along the way. He was wonderful with our young children, and we especially appreciated the local insights he shared throughout the tour. When thunderstorms affected our original plans, the staff was extremely flexible and accommodating in helping us reschedule, which we greatly appreciated. The gift shop was well stocked, and every employee we encountered was warm, welcoming, and friendly. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

Go see the manatees!

We had a wonderful guide, John. We saw numerous manatees and some other wildlife along the way. Highly recommend this trip. My only recommendation for Viator is to change the meeting point on the emails. It still says to meet at Pete’s Pier, which is apparently the old meeting spot. They now meet at Fun 2 Dive.

Awesome experience -Loved the knowledge on the manatee and ecosystem.

Loved, loved, loved the Manatee and wildlife tour by Captain John - a tour that saw 7 manatee (one with a baby!!!). John was very personable and knowledgeable, using patience with all our questions. We gained great understanding of the manatee ecosystem, the importance of the springs for the manatees as well as wildlife information. Myself, my husband, my son, and future daughter-in-law (son/future DIL are from Missouri) all consider this tour as a 2nd trip possibility in the future. It is worth while.
