Vela del atardecer de Maui

The boat staff were lovely and attentive, but my problem is with the astronomer on board, Harriet. I expected a ride out and maybe a few pointers looking at constellations. Instead, I felt captive for 2.5 hours while Harriet shared the most basic space facts and begged for audience participation like Dora the Explorer. There were several trips around the boat asking if we thought the moon was bigger than the sun and when audience participation was low she demanded that everyone move to the back of the boat so they could hear her even though there was a loud speaker system set up so it was impossible to escape her. I came on this tour to relax and look at the sky with the people I came with. When I quietly spoke with my group I was scolded and told I could go downstairs if I didn’t want to listen.

Friendly crew. Sunset and rainbows were awesome. We've been on PacWhale sailings before and will go again. The cause is wonderful and the price is fair. We saw a wonderful sunset and multiple rainbows above Maui.

Friendly staff, great ride, supporting a good cause!

We did this sunset cruise on July 4th to see the fireworks. It was a disappointing experience and I don’t recommend this excursion. The worst part was blasting rock Music for the entire 3 hour cruise. We asked them to turn it down and they declined. We sat in the dark waiting for the fire works to begin for over an hour and they were over in 15 minutes. They didn’t turn down the music during the fireworks and refused to lower the volumes despite specific requests. It was expensive and not worth it.

Get there by 5:00, so they can pick your up from the meeting spot and to the boat for the 5:15 departure. The ad said no alcohol, but they served alcohol and several rounds of snacks to the point I didn't need dinner. All female crew were friendly and very capable.

We loved every minute of our sunset sail. They crew was great and the view was amazing. Would do it again and highly recommend.

Awesome crew and captain took care of everyone the whole trip. Appetizers galore and drink always full. Highly recommend when in Maui.

It was an unbelievable experience. Nicholas, Noah, Kirsten, and Will were exceptional in service and so friendly and engaging. They made the experience so wonderful. The food was great but the views and the service are rave worthy. I can’t recommend this any more. The experience was truly unforgettable

My husband and I booked the Sunset and Celestial cruise for the last night of our vacation. This was my favorite experience from our entire week! Although the boat could hold over 100 guests, there was about 40 and we were all able to enjoy the evening views from the top deck. The pupus and drinks were good (shrimp cocktail, ahi tuna toasts, kalua pork quesadillas, fruit, cheese and chocolate chip cookies). The speaker, astronomy writer-speaker, Harriett Whit was amazing! I could have listened to her until the sun rose! Highly recommend this perfect evening!
