Varsovia y el castillo real
Descripción
Esta es una opción extendida de la visita a la ciudad de Varsovia. Después de visitar el parque Lazienki, donde puede admirar palacios y pabellones, luego recorrer la Ruta Real, caminar por el casco antiguo, un sitio en la lista del patrimonio cultural de la UNESCO, ver las casas donde nació Madame Curie y donde vivió Chopin, nos detendremos en uno de los pequeños cafés de Old Town para almorzar, donde podrá saborear la comida típica polaca, y luego visitar el Castillo Real, que aunque fue reconstruido en los años 70, muestra una gran cantidad de pinturas, muebles y objetos de arte guardados milagrosamente. Aquí es donde vivían los reyes polacos, donde tenían lugar las sesiones del Parlamento, y donde ahora se pueden ver las pinturas de Rembrandt y otras obras maestras preciosas.

Barbican era parte del sistema de defensa y la puerta que conducía a la ciudad medieval. Da la apertura a la Ciudad Nueva, que de hecho es la segunda parte más antigua de Varsovia. Vale la pena ver.
Además de la parte histórica de Varsovia, también verá una parte moderna del centro recientemente construida con muchos rascacielos llamados a veces Varsovia Manhattan.

Let's start by saying that the castle is a refurbished historical building in the Polish capital city. Everything you will see is the result of decades of research and construction work. Unfortunately, the only thing that I find a bit annoying is the incomplete knowledge of English by some people (e.g. room guards, wardrobe, security guards). It is so unpleasant that if you ask them a question, they automatically answer in Polish. Many tourists visit the castle, and most of them are not always Polish! I recommend that something should be done as soon as possible to ensure that the following employees learn English at least at a B1 or B2 level!
Really spectacle and ornate castle. There is lots of furniture however a lot of the things inside and all of the castle is a recreation because it was destroyed during World War 2. Most information is translated into English so it’s fairly easy to understand without a tour. We went on Wednesday which is a free day. We were able to visit the majority of the castle for free except for paid exhibitions. We did have to wait in the cue for about 30 minutes but it was not crowded when we got inside. People were lined up even before the museum opened.
Good that you enjoyed your visit of Royal Castle. But if you did take a guide, you would know that things inside (furniture and paintings) are nor recreation, on the contrary, each one has a fascinated history behind it. Only the walls are recreation, that's true. Enjoy your tour in Poland!
It is fully restored as it was before the war. Few pieces are original but not many. Staff do not speak English except in information center. There is left luggage storage room for free. Allocate 2 to 3 hours for this activity. Picture is from conference room.
