A 24 ticket is quite expensive and due to the frequency of the buses, we only did hop off and one once so it’s not great value. The commentary was amusing and fairly interesting but didn’t really fully explain indigenous peoples in this part of the world. It was very European/ settler centric. It was also very quiet at times and we couldn’t hear it over the other noisy passengers. We usually love these bus tours as a family but I wouldn’t recommend this one at all - just buy a Compass card in a Safeway and visit the sites you want to see using the buses and SkyTrain.
Terrible experience. Very expensive for what we got. Whenever I have done hop on hop off in the past the driver did the tour. On this one it was a recording and we couldn’t even hear it. Waste of money.
What a great way to see the City, did a full loop, then picked where to stop. Before you know it the day is gone, such an awsome busy buzzing day. Special thanks to our tour guide Sherry (yes like the Spanish Wine 😊)
Sherry, you truly made our day, thank you so much! This was our third time taking this bus tour, and you were the only guide who actually gave a live tour. The other two times, it was just a pre-recorded narration. You were so funny, engaging, and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you for making our trip extra special!

The staff was amazing. However its a little misleading calling it a 24 hour pass when the first bus was 9am and the busses stopped at 430pm. (Even though the App said 630)

Various stops were not being used, neither the app nor customer service had the correct info. We spent a long time waiting for buses that did not come, and 8 senior citizens walking long ( for us) distances between stops to finally get on a bus. So much frustration and mis information. Even when we were on the bus driving by our stop, we were not told it was going to happen or even that it was happening!. No one was helpful or sympathetic. Other problems that were more minor. It ruined our day in Vancouver.

First off, with FIFA in town our stop was moved and not clear where pick up was so had to walk blocks to the next one! And all recorded information, which was okay, but others have said how the driver really added alot more info to make it more enjoyable...Ours did not!! Also, only operates until 5pm... With the summer daylight hours expected more time to get to see the town!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus in Vancouver and found it to be one of the best ways to explore the city. It takes you to all the major attractions, allowing you to see far more than you could on foot while giving you the flexibility to stop wherever you like. We purchased our tickets at Stop 1, Canada Place, which is conveniently located right beside the cruise ship terminal and directly across the road from the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. It couldn't have been easier to find, especially for cruise passengers. We bought the one-day pass and hopped on and off several times throughout the day, visiting different parts of the city at our own pace. It proved to be excellent value for money and saved us the hassle of navigating public transport or paying for multiple taxis. The buses weren't overcrowded during our visit, making the journey comfortable and relaxing. The commentary was informative, giving us plenty of interesting facts about Vancouver's history and landmarks, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and happy to answer questions. If you're visiting Vancouver for the first time or only have a day or two to explore, I'd highly recommend the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus. It's a convenient, enjoyable and stress-free way to experience this beautiful city.
