Camine por Gastown, el barrio donde Vancouver comenzó, con un guía que conoce cada calle y cada cocina, y su grupo las tiene para usted. Este tour privado cubre las mismas paradas locales queridas, las mismas historias detrás del Gran Incendio de 1886 y los orígenes de la ciudad, y la misma comida que ha hecho de este barrio uno de los destinos gastronómicos más distintivos de Canadá. En el camino degustará platos arraigados en la historia de Gastown : cerdo asado lentamente tallado por encargo en ciabatta, un bar de postres que creció de un puesto de mercado de agricultores a una institución de BC, y huevos escoceses clásicos servidos en un pub a partir de 1910. Su menú varía en función de la hora de su recorrido : los huéspedes de la mañana disfrutan de la rosquilla frita artesanal de Vancouver fresca todos los días desde 1979, además de tostadas vegetales fermentadas sobre masa madre. Por la tarde, los huéspedes pueden añadir un taco de pollo y chocolate artesanal casero. Cada salida incluye nuestro Plato Secreto, revelado solo en el día. Las bebidas de calidad están incluidas en determinadas paradas.

Mathieu was an amazing foodie and tour guide! This was a great way to see Vancouver and discover some of the neighborhoods. And the food! We had some amazing food that we never would have found on our own. You have to do this tour - you won't regret it!

Ilya was a wonderful guide, both of the food and restaurants and the history of the neighborhoods we visited. He was knowledgeable and friendly; I can't imagine a better guide! The variety of the food was vast and I tasted 2 things I'd never had before, as well as some delicious sushi, made in a different style.

This was our third Secret Food Tour in 3 cities. We have loved them all. In Vancouver our guide was Ilyas who was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. He mad the experience special. We highly recommend this tour for the diversity of food tasted and the different restaurants visited.

This was an excellent tour for not only the food tastings, but also learning about the city. Mathieu was very knowledgeable and had a genuine passion and joy for his city. We plan to visit some of the shops and restaurants on our next visit.

What an experience! We did the private Vancouver food tour with Mathieu, and he was just amazing. He was so knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate about Vancouver history, architecture, and (of course) food. We visited a variety of places and sampled so much: a porchetta sandwich, toffee bar, Scotch egg, CBC taco, sushi, and local chocolate. The tour takes place around the Gastown district, so while there's a bit of walking, it's not overwhelming. Everything is well paced across about 2.5 hours (at least for our private tour option). HIGHLY recommend for anyone wanting to experience a sampler from Vancouver's best eateries!

Ilyas was really good. I would like more historical information to be included. One of the restaurants was closed. Would have been nice to have an alternate instead of just loosing a stop. all in all it was very enjoyable

We had a great time with Landon as he showed us around Vancouver's Gastown. He was very passionate about the area's history and took us to 5 places to sample some excellent food. I loved the Taco's (and the Margarita) and Terry loved Sushi - every stop was well thought out. We recommend Landon and this tour, we have done several around the world and this one did not disappoint
