Vancouver Island : Excursión en kayak de día completo desde Telegraph Cove

We had a fantastic experience on our kayak tour! Our guide, Stella, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. She shared fascinating insights about the area, local wildlife, and the surrounding environment, which really added to the experience. Her enthusiasm and passion were contagious, and she made everyone feel welcome and comfortable on the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and informative adventure!

We had the best time on our full day kayak trip with North Island Kayak! Our guide was Rebecca and she was amazing. She made us feel very comfortable during our time on the water, even when the wind starting really picking up and we had to kick in the paddling! She had so much knowledge of the wildlife and natural history of the surrounding area to share with us and her enthusiasm was incredible. She really made the trip an exciting experience for us in every way. Overall our kayaking trip through North Island Kayak and with Rebecca as our guide exceeded our expectations!

We had a wonderful day with our guides Lily and Stella. The kayaking was easy, which was good for me since I am a beginner. Our guides were terrific. Both of them had a vast knowledge of plant and animal life. Stella carries her guidebook with her own beautiful drawings of plants and animals surrounded by interesting facts about each item. She shared it with us at lunch. Lily has a real passion about marine life and even made a horn for us from bull kelp, which she played for us. We saw Doll Porpoises, and harbour seals, and bald eagles. It was a wonderful day!

We went on the all day tour with Stella and Lily as our guides. We were met at the dock when we arrived by the guides and our group was expertly set up with kayaks and gear. The tour on the water was spectacular as we saw porpoises, sea lions, seals, and numerous eagles along the route. Lunch on a secluded bay topped off the trip. The guides knowledge of the ocean and the animals was second to none. One of the staff (Austin) even took our dog out for a walk mid-day so that we could be out on the all day tour. This place is amazing and we will certainly be back. Value for the dollar can't be beat!

Great day of kayaking with Rebecca and Leanna. We saw a bear, sea lions and helped rescue a waterlogged bald eagle. We had a great day. Guides were very knowledgeable, professional and fun. Highly recommended.

Lovey day kayaking, led so well by Stella assisted by Brad! Really nice pacing of the day, some slow times when we could just look and listen, and other times paddling steadily following the orcas - what a great experience. So much to see and talk about over lunch at a beautiful spot, and as we were paddling. The perfect weather added to a fabulous trip, and it was great to meet new people, share stories, and grab some great photos and memories. Thanks so much North island Kayak! 10/10

Great scenery and wildlife. Good equipment. Not sure the guide has what it takes to interact with (paying) customers, who were mostly left unsure and confused as to where they should be on the water. I felt sorry for a Catalan couple from Barcelona who were subjected to a nonsensical and egotistical tirade regarding rules that were never set out in the first place and were then applied completely inconsistently. It could well have been directed at us too but we weren’t sure what was going on or what to do! It was a beautiful day but we were left with a bad taste at the end it, after being made to feel like naughty school children being told off by a teacher with a massive ego!!

Family of 5 (all adults), we had an amazing full days kayaking with Janae leading the way. She was fantastic and shared so much local knowledge in a friendly and light hearted way. The weather turned a bit tasty on the return trip and Janae took the sensible decision to cut the trip short which was totally understood and appreciated. It's the second trip we have done with the company and would certainly do so again.

What and amazing 4-day trip! Beautiful scenery, comfortable campsites, great food, and wildlife galore - Orcas, humpbacks, bear, deer, eagles, kingfishers, sea lions, porpoises, and more. Our guides were excellent and our traveling companions all fun and excited about the experience (with ages ranging from early 30s to early 70s!). The guides tailored each day to our capabilities and the wildlife opportunities. We had one very rainy day, but it was all part of the adventure... Highly, highly recommended.

We paddled out of Telegraph Cove for the 6 hour tour on the most beautiful wind still and sunny morning in September - during the tour we saw a bachelor sea otter (called Fred), bald eagles, we encountered a curious a black bear during our lunch stop on the beach, and saw a pod of resident orcas, that passed exactly where we had paddled just an hour or so before. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Thanks also to our great guide Jan.
