Vía Ferrata Caminito del Rey

Our via ferrata with Joseph was a very fun and relaxed experience. His enthusiasm for all things climbing is contagious; we’d definitely recommend.

It was a beautiful via ferrata. Moreover, the guide was very competent and one feels very comfortable. I can highly recommend it and will definitely book it again.

We enjoyed this course a lot. Participated along with my son, both not active climbers, and it was more than worth the trip. The climb is doable and you really end up in a beautiful environment. Very much enjoyed the enthusiasm of our guide.

Great adventure experience. Challenging track not for everyone but for the adventurers this is very suitable. Was very quiet so we imagined ourselves alone in the nature reserve. Nice and cozy guide Joseph who was full of facts and cozy stories. Have entertained us very much.

This was an amazing experience and Alejandro was an amazing guide. With a daughter who loves rock climbing, this seemed a fun way to share her passion without needing quite as much skill. It was a ton of fun and we got some amazing views! We were a bit worried that we wouldn't be able to do it due to rain, but we were able to wait it out. Alejandro was very patient with us, making sure we did everything safely and in control, but also making sure we enjoyed ourselves throughout.

Joseph was an amazing guide. He made us all feel comfortable and my two teenage boys (19&16) both really enjoyed this adventure. I would highly recommend doing the via Ferrata if you’re looking for something different. I have to say you need to be pretty fit to do this. At a few points you’re using a lot of upper body strength to pull yourself up, atleast I was because I wasn’t tall enough to rest on one of the ledges. Joseph offered to help me with a side rope but I was determined to do this on my own. Joseph was funny and keep us entertained with different stories and information on the plants that inhabit the area. This adventure is definitely not for the weak of heart, you will be suspended high above ground plenty of times, but the views and thrills are so worth it!

The Via Ferrata was a challenging ascent and descent with good views. Our family of five including three teenagers enjoyed the morning. The route features a zip line and two tightropes. It takes about 2.5 hours total. Our guide, Joseph, is a local climber. He was pleasant and engaging. Note - You must be in decent enough physical shape and have no fear of heights.

Amazing experience, Joseph, our guide was very nice and it was interesting to discuss with him about the mountain, the culture and local food ! I recommend the experience. Only negative point was a mix up in the planning which made us start the via ferrata 1 hour later than planned.

Really fun day out with Joseph. He was a great guide, patient and entertaining. The climb was well paced, safe and beautiful.
