Descripción
Las cuevas subterráneas son uno de los lugares más increíbles para visitar en la isla Terceira. Este recorrido incluye la visita a la Cueva de Natal (tubo de lava) y al Algar do Carvão (interior del volcán), así como a las famosas Furnas de Enxofre (fumarolas) y a la zona de ocio Lagoa das Patas.

La primera parada del recorrido será en un lugar secreto llamado Lagoa das Patas. En este lugar es posible visitar el arroyo que nace en la Serra de Sta Bárbara, visitar la Laguna e interactuar con animales como patos y algunas aves. ¡Es una zona de ocio llena de vida y naturaleza!
Aquí visitaremos la famosa Gruta Natal y Lagoa do Negro. En esta parada, tienes la oportunidad de caminar a través de túneles de lava hechos por la madre naturaleza y ver de cerca la Lagoa do Negro.
Furnas do Enxofre está formada por un área que comprende varias salidas de gases volcánicos agresivos a diferentes temperaturas, algunas bastante altas. Tiene un pequeño sendero peatonal que permite observar de cerca el humo de azufre.
¡Visitamos el interior de un volcán en el centro de la isla Terceira! Una experiencia inolvidable que recordarás el resto de tu vida.

Wonderful tour of the lava tubes and the interior of a volcano in the middle of the island. André was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, sincere and respectful. He sent a message ahead of time to let me know the pickup time which was a great help. Comfortable van. I will go again with this company.

While the weather did not cooperate, we still had a fun tour of lava tube and volcano. The weather meant we skipped the fumarole, but James gave us some extra time at Quinta dos Azores - for coffee and a snack Also we had delightful stop at the duck lagoon. Very peaceful.

I didnt want to hire a car to visit the central part of Terceira, so booked the half day van trip at the last minute. Easy pick up and great commentary from Andrea about the island. Visited four sites, each beautiful in its own way. Met all my expectations.
