Descripción
La actividad guiada de medio día comienza y finaliza en tu hotel. Saldrá después del desayuno a las 10:00 a. m. y se dirigirá hacia el norte de Zanzíbar para pasar un día de aventuras, emociones y entusiasmo. Verá una variedad de especias justo donde se cultivan, como vainilla, cardamomo y nuez moscada. También podrás asistir a lecciones de cocina para aprender a preparar un plato tradicional de Zanzíbar. Esto puede incluir la preparación de arroz simple asado con leche de coco, pilau (arroz condimentado), plátanos asados, etc. Puede disfrutar de los alimentos, puede comerlos y puede maravillarse con la prueba de los alimentos. Después de eso lo llevaremos de regreso a su hotel.

The cooking class portion of the spice farm tour was a truly unique and authentic experience, but not for the faint of heart! From sitting on the floor of the “kitchen”, which is essentially a dirt floor , cinder block room without running water or electricity, to cutting up vegetables used in the multi-course meal, to watching “Mama” prepare the meal and waiting for the meal to cook over 3 portable charcoal braziers, we all felt transported in time. But the food was delicious and despite all of our Western food safety concerns, none of us had any issues. If you are adventurous this cooking experience is for you! For the not so food adventurous the spice farm tour was excellent on its own.

The cooking class was super great and the food tasted wonderful. Maria, the cook is a totally warm and personable woman and a wonderful cook. You could help a lot and the tour guide Dida explained everything great. She also speaks super German. The cooking class is highly recommended.
