Descubra la historia de Sydney en este tour para grupos pequeños dirigido por expertos (máximo 12 invitados), mientras visita todas las principales atracciones de la ciudad. Perfecto para aquellos que acaban de llegar, así como los locales y aquellos que quieren profundizar en el aprendizaje de la historia, la cultura, la sociedad y las personas de las Primeras Naciones de Australia. A partir de la Aduana, escucharás sobre la colonización de Sydney por los británicos y cómo su llegada impactó a los habitantes originales. Su guía le proporcionará una serie de perspectivas sobre el desarrollo de Sydney, presentando a los líderes aborígenes, gobernadores británicos, convictos y empresarios, así como a los recién llegados. Terminará con una cerveza en una popular cervecería con vistas al Puente, la Ópera y el puerto de Sídney. Durante una copa, el anfitrión te dará más recomendaciones para que tu estancia en Sydney sea especial, ¡cosas que no encontrarás en una guía! Camine por las calles en un pequeño grupo para no pelear por ver y escuchar a su guía o permanecer en el sendero.

Itinerario
Comenzamos en Customs House, donde verá un modelo a escala de todo Sydney y donde caminaremos (aproximadamente 4 km / 2,5 millas). También aprenderá algunos nombres de lugares aborígenes para partes de Sydney y explorará el nuevo recinto inmediatamente detrás de Customs House.
Pasamos junto al "Hospital del ron", que ahora consta del Parlamento de Nueva Gales del Sur, el Hospital de Sydney y la Casa de la Moneda.
Nos detendremos afuera de Hyde Park Barracks mientras escucha la historia de su construcción y el infame arquitecto. No entramos en los Cuarteles.
Entraremos brevemente en los Jardines Botánicos Reales para ver la ubicación del antiguo Palacio del Jardín y la Fuente del Gobernador Phillip.
Ingresaremos brevemente al edificio Queen Victoria, pero principalmente solo para verlo y para que los invitados usen los baños.
Nos detenemos en Hyde Park, donde obtendrá una gran vista de la Catedral de Santa María. No entramos en la catedral ni nos acercamos a ella (aproximadamente a 50 metros del edificio).
Nos detendremos en Martin Place y Pitt St para observar la Oficina General de Correos y escuchar la historia de su controvertida construcción y diseño.

Caminaremos por parte de The Rocks hacia el final del recorrido, visitando Nurses Walk, Jack Mundey Place y Lower George St.
Veremos la Casa de la Ópera desde donde finalizamos el recorrido y en Campbell's Cove. No entramos en la Casa de la Ópera pero escucharás la historia de su construcción.
Veremos el Sydney Harbour Bridge desde donde finaliza el recorrido. No nos subimos al puente como parte del recorrido, pero es una caminata corta desde el punto final.

We loved the ultimate walking tour we did with Andrew and Local Sauce. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable about NSW political and cultural history, shared the fascinating city lore, patiently answered our questions, showed us great photo spots, and just made it a fun day. We highly recommend this tour.
Great tour! Just right amount of information and breaks at the right places
Our guide, Jake, really made this Sydney walking tour fantastic! His deep knowledge of both its history and current culture made it so interesting. He was super approachable and had answers for all our questions. In just three hours, we explored a lot of historical sites and hidden gems we never would have found alone. Jake even provided visuals and a small treat to help us imagine what life was like back then. The walk itself was quite relaxing, and we had ample opportunities for bathroom breaks. We wrapped up the tour with a refreshing drink at a pub, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful tour!

This walking tour was a perfect start to the trip after first getting there. Matt was so much fun. He is very informative and made the tour very engaging with games, fun facts, quiz questions. He was understanding and patient when I was running late after arriving into Sydney late! I would do this again. Highly recommend!! A very nice and welcoming person!
