La gente que ha hecho rafting en el Zambezi, el Futaleufu, el Karnali vienen aquí y lo llaman el mejor día que han pasado en un río. Esa no es nuestra pretensión. Eso es lo que se sigue diciendo. El East Glacial River recorre 18 kilómetros a través de un remoto cañón glacial, 150 metros de profundidad, sin carreteras, rápidos de clase 4 y muchos rápidos a la vuelta de cada esquina. Hemos estado guiándolo durante más de 30 años y todavía no se hace viejo. Cada huésped obtiene un traje seco completo, no un traje de neopreno, por lo que se mantiene completamente caliente y seco durante todo el camino. Casi nadie más en el mundo hace esto en un río glacial. No se necesita experiencia. Aparece listo.

3 generations went on the trip. My father, 68, my boys, 23 and 25 and myself 50. It was a spectacular adventure. The crew is top notch, experienced and stoked for the trip. Our guide Mr. A is inspiring and a joyful human. Bhalu is a site to behold, and it was a treat to have him in our raft. The river is cold the folks are warm and friendly. I highly recommend adding lunch to your reservation. Lunch was a feast that warmed the body after such trip to nature that recharges the spirit.
I've done several rafting trips, but this is the top of my list. Mr. A explanation of what might be expected was spot on. I knew some of the challenges but didn't expect passing through a 2.5m opening. We stayed for lunch with the crew. It was so delicious, a feast! It's 5* ,worth the booking!!
We did the midnight rafting experience with Viking Rafting—the only place that offers anything like it. We started at 8 PM and didn't finish until around 3 AM, and it turned out to be one of the absolute best ways to experience Iceland and one of our favorite activities of the entire trip. We booked dinner before the rafting and were greeted with an incredible lamb meal that we got to sit down and enjoy alongside the entire staff, who decided to join us for rafting just for the fun of it. Every staff member we met was kind, friendly, and genuinely fun, watching out for us on the river while making sure we had an unforgettable experience. This was one of the best rafting trips we've ever done. Their photographer captured amazing pictures, and the memories we made were truly impeccable. We will be back. Thank you!
We had an all-around good day! Everything was perfectly organized. At the cozy base station, there is a relaxed atmosphere, and you are welcomed warmly. After that, everything runs smoothly. All staff members are true professionals. The briefing is thorough and understandable. On the water, it is simply fun! Our "boat driver" Bigrum was great, had everything under control, and you felt safe in every situation. At the end, there was a really good meal and great photos. We give 5 stars, absolutely recommendable.
we went rafting with Hari and Camino and wooooo it was amazing!!! it is for sure the coolest way to experience iceland. there is action all the time and as you are wearing dry suits it is very fun to fall in the water because you stay dry!! The whole crew was very nice, everyone was super attentive Saurav, Naina and Amit were taking care of us in the kayak, Anup drove us to get to the starting point and Bikram and Mike helped us with the gear up. super nice vibes all the time ☀️ and the food is a must!! so so so good thanks Andy for this amazing insight in icelandic cuisine thank you all for this great experience 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
This might be the best river we’ve ever rafted on. Constant white water, and quite a few huge drops.saurau is the best river guide I’ve ever had. His instruction was so good. He set our expectations and set us up for success. He was an expert at navigating the rapids and got us back in the boat with lightening speed when needed. We appreciated the rest of our crew so much. Ghappu and Pablo kept us safe. Bikram took the most amazing photos, which are precious to us. Mikey drove us there smooth and safely, and can we even say enough about how bhalu the dog kept us safe and entertained? A perfect crew. Thanks guys!
This was SO incredible. Beautiful, fun, and full of memory making moments. Our guides, Hari, Amit, Saurav, and Camino were calming, encouraging, and FUN to spend time with, and very clearly knowledgeable and capable on the river. The whole experience was about 5 hours. All in all, highly recommend rafting with this crew!

My husband and I have rafted around the world. This was the best rafting trip we have done. The guides were so experienced, knowledgeable and welcoming. We were in a glacial river but felt safe and supported. We had a meal afterwards together and spent ages chatting and laughing. It was such a highlight of the entire trip to Iceland! Thank you!
