No olvides tus cámaras, sombreros, bloqueador solar y bebidas

I booked and received paid for tickets for an Everglades boat trip to see Manatees, Dolphins and Birds. Tickets were sent by email to confirm our place on the tour. We drove over 2 hours and once at the destination waited for the boat trip to begin. When the Captain met us he said he had no details of us and called his company as the boat was full. Our day was wasted and we were left out of pocket for fuel we paid for the journey there and back . The trip was 240 miles and took over 5 hours of our time . There was no recognition our wasted time and that we were left out of pocket.
A two hours boat with don. Don explained everything with a lot of knowledge , we saw dolphins and special things.
Capt Gerry was full of knowledge and very entertaining! He took us places where no one else was and showed us an amazing assortment of birds and some dolphins! He taught us about the park, the wildlife, the local area and told us numerous stories about the area and its people. The boat was a bit run down, does not have any covering for shade and was a bit cramped with all the gear in it. I would think some sort of cover in 100 degree heat would be essential. Not too bad since we went in the morning but I couldn’t imagine going out later, longer or later into the summer.
Thank you for your honest review. We are having some work done to our Bimini right now and we are sorry you had to endure the summer heat without it! Thank you coming out with us and we hope to have you back out when our Bimini is back up and functioning!
We had a blast. It wad a 4 hour drive round trip to do this excursion and it was well worth it. Don our boat captain was very knowledgeable. We saw many types of birds, dolphins wave riding, jumping fish, and mush more. We definitely recommend it.
Glad you all had a wonderful time with captain Don! He truly loves what he does and it shows. Thank you all for the recommendation and we hope to see you all back here soon!
Jerry was very informative and clearly lived what he does. Loved playing with the dolphins and seeing all the different birds
Thank you for the review. Glad you all had a great time with captain Jerry!
The four members of my family were lucky to have a private tour with a friendly and knowledgeable captain through the saltwater area of the Everglades. We did not see manatees, which are my favorites, but we did see numerous dolphins playing around the boat, bald eagles, and a wide variety of shorebirds. A two hour cruise was one I would recommend, particularly for people who do not have prior experience boating around the mangrove swamps.
Thank you for the review! While manatees can sometimes be elusive, it’s wonderful that you were able to see dolphins and a Bald Eagle! We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you soon!!
It’s relaxing and fun. Captain Don was knowledgeable and friendly! We saw dolphins, ospreys, and eagle!
Thank you for the review! How awesome you were able to see an eagle!
Don was an excellent tour guide and captain. We learned so much about the ecosystem of the Everglades and the bird species. At the end we even saw some dolphins coming next to the boat. Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for the great review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time with Captain Don! He is definitely a walking encyclopedia! Thank you for your recommendation!
If there is an earlier trip, I recommend going earlier the better. We went at 11 and only saw dolphins and different birds. We did see a bald eagle’s nest with baby and parent. Thee or four osprey nexts and babies and parents, and lots of other bird species!
Thank you for the honest review!! Unfortunately, it's very rare to see alligators on this tour as they are usually more in the fresh water rather than the salt water. If you do see one, that'd be pretty lucky!
Great 2 hours on the water…Captain Jerry was a great guide!
Thank you for the great review! Glad you all had great time with Captain Jerry!
