The trip was not as advertised with multiple issues. It advertises max of 4 people but there were 6. This extended the day by at least an hour due to the extra pickup. The "guide" told us he had been up until 3am smoking and drinking coffee and had forgotten his guide pass so was unable to guide us when we were in the site. Instead he told us a few things on the bus and randomly appeared while we were exploring the sites by ourselves. We learnt more from the boards at the sites and the internet. He was late returning to the bus at one of the sites and tried to tell us that he had told us to meet somewhere else. We didn't get to visit the Medina in Tunis as he told us it was closed. A simple internet search told us that this was a lie. A very disappointing outcome for us all. The mini bus was cramped with no air conditioning. We needed to bend forward to see out of the windows. The driver got a speeding fine on the way to Cartage and on the way back to the hotel i took a photo of the guide sleeping and the driver playing on his phone while we we were on the motorway. Ive attempted to contact the company about what happened but they have not responded. The 2 sites we saw were very good but I would strongly recommend booking with someone else.
Thank you Zied for a pleasant day visiting Tunis, Carthage and Sidi Bou Said with you!
Guide was great, excellent communication before and during the excursion. Was able to answer all questions about the history and culture that was asked. Transport was modern clean and very comfortable
Nadhmi is very friendly and he can answer every questions that we have asked about Tunisia. His vehicle is comfortable and he can flexibly adjust the tour according to the interest and the preference of the group. Therefore I would strongly recommend this tour.
An absolute must-do experience! The communication was excellent from start to finish. Nadhmi struck the perfect balance between being informative and giving us the freedom to explore Sidi Bou Said and the Medina at our own pace. We felt completely safe throughout our journey in Tunisia, and the beauty of the country was truly captivating. I highly recommend this day trip to anyone wanting to discover the authentic charm of Tunisia's cultural treasures.
Would really recommend this trip! The tour guide is super friendly and had good communication in advance about the pickup times etc.
A very detailed and expansive tour which span throughout 3 different distinctive areas and the history behind them. Here we have examples of Phonecian, Roman and Islamic influences upon the region and the effect they had. A memorable moment and one to cherish for a life time.
What we liked the most was getting lost and haggling in the Medina, charming and wonderful merchants... in the end, apart from the prices, they gave us some little things...
Small and short excursion around the city. Pass through the beautiful "Falaise" route to the marina, which is worth a look. I quickly walk through the curious open cemetery to the Mausoleum of the omnipresent Burguiba, which is free to visit. Next door, I recommend immersing yourself in the Medina. Interesting city because you can get an idea of some of the different realities in Tunisia. Traffic without rules and taxi drivers with great expertise. Pay attention to prices: a trip that cost me just over 7 DNT (accompanied by Tunisians) cost 25 DNT when I traveled as a tourist.
Bonjour monsieur, je croi que vous vous êtes trompé de produit. Vous êtes en train de commenter une sortie en taxi dans la ville de Monastir pas d’une excursion vers Tunis, Sidi Bousaid et Carthage. Merci de vérifier
The trip was very nice. The guide was very happy to respond to destination requests from us. His courteousness in Medina in translating in the shops is highly commendable. The drive from Monastir to Tunis was very pleasant and comfortable. We were transported as a couple in a car. So there were no other people except us in the transport vehicle. Our wish to eat nice traditional Tunisian was also taken into account. We were taken to a very nice restaurant in the middle of Medina. The food there was very nutritious and tasty. The guide is historically very astute and has responded to every question. His English is understandable and good. All in all, it was worth booking the trip. Big praise to Nadhmi!
