Tropea Lemon Experience

It is an absolute highlight and highly recommended, interesting and exciting for both of us, very friendly and competent people, and the hands-on experience for the dessert and the Limoncello 👍 simply superb, definitely a well-invested time 👏👏👏

We had the most amazing experience with Caterina of Torre Galli and Enzo from Visit Mediterraneo. From the moment we were picked up, we knew we had made the right decision booking this tour. It offers something completely different from the typical Tropea experiences, which seem to be centered around boat tours, food walks, and rentals. This experience is truly not to be missed. When we arrived at the farm, Caterina greeted us with the warmest and most welcoming demeanor. We explored the beautiful property, visited the lemon groves where we picked fresh lemons, met the resident donkeys and goats, and learned more about the farm and its traditions. We then made the most delicious lemon cheesecake in a fun, hands-on cooking experience before creating our own limoncello. While our meal was being prepared, we were treated to limoncello spritzes and invited to wander through the gardens and take photos. The meal itself was absolutely incredible—easily one of the best dining experiences we had in Tropea. We enjoyed wine with dinner, followed by our homemade cheesecake while watching a stunning sunset. Of course, there was a little more limoncello to finish the evening. The experience ended with a comfortable drop-off back at our accommodation in Tropea, making the entire evening seamless from start to finish. I’m usually hesitant to book tours that don’t have a large number of reviews. I’d normally choose a 5-star experience with 100 reviews over one with only a handful. In this case, trusting our instincts was the best decision we could have made. Caterina and Enzo deserve every bit of praise they receive. As an added bonus, Enzo took candid photos throughout the experience and sent them to us, along with the recipes, later that evening. It was such a thoughtful touch and a wonderful way to remember an unforgettable evening. I would gladly return to Tropea just to do this tour again, and wouldn’t hesitate to book any of the Visit Mediterraneo tours.

This was the highlight of our trip to beautiful Tropea! Enzo was the BEST! It was not what we expected in a good way, it exceeded our expectations! The whole experience from the drive up and back, the gorgeous property, learning how to make limoncello and lemon cheesecake to photo opts and the best food we had in Tropea! Katarina was so sweet and an amazing chef! If you choose one activity this is an absolute must! Thank you so much!

Wow so nice. We picked lemons , made our own cheesecake and limoncello. We were invited to a fantastic dinner out in the beautiful garden. Our guide Enzo was exemplary.

It was so nice to walk around at the farm with lemontrees, olivetrees, and animals. We enjoyd the whole experience with picking lemons, make Limoncello and lemondessert. They served us good food and wine and it was nice to have a lot of time to learn to know the other people who was there. Enzo at Visit Mediterraneo really know how to make good experiences and i will highly reccomend theese.

The tour with Enzo was a unique experience. The estate of the lemon farm was very well maintained and making the lemon cheesecake and the limoncello with Katarina was a lot of fun. It was the perfect conclusion to our stay in Tropea and we would always book more tours with Enzo!
