Troodos Mountains Vino Venture: Tour de un día completo con todo incluido

This was a fantastic experience- we were picked up in the morning by Elena our guide for the day - she sent a msg saying she had arrived and we went straight out to her She said that she had water in a cool bag for us on the trip - if anyone would like it The party of us in the vehicle were 6 and everybody got on great - we visited 3 wineries and called at a local taverna for lunch- absolutely fantastic food and wine - oh I forgot there was water in the table as well Elena was a fantastic guide - informed us if everything - thank you

Elena was our guide on this tour - we she arrived outside our hotel she msg to say she had arrived - so we didn’t have to ask our cars that were pulling up for other excursions We picked another 4 people up and Elena was very informative to what would happen next she also had bottles of water in a cool bag for all of us We went to 3 wineries and tasted wines there - we also were taken to a taverna for lunch - this was a very clean taverna and we had lots & lots of different dishes - Meze everything cooked perfect again more wine on the table - also water The last winery we visited the owner made appearance and spoke very good English- he looked so well and we asked him what was his secret - a glass of wine a day 👍 he really looked amazing for his age Elena was the perfect guide for our trip so a big thank you from us

We had an absolutely fantastic day, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Christina. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts without it ever feeling like a lecture. Christina was friendly, easygoing, and made everyone feel relaxed and welcome from the start. The whole day was well organised, but it never felt rushed, and nothing was too much trouble. The wineries were all excellent, and we really enjoyed the variety and balance of wines we had the opportunity to taste. The staff at each winery were also incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and happy to share their expertise, which made every visit even more enjoyable. Christina’s enthusiasm for the places we visited really added to the experience and made the day all the more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fantastic day out. Thank you, Christina, for making it such a brilliant experience! Christina was a brilliant host. Very friendly and knew so much about the area we visited. 2 of the 3 wineries we visited were really beautiful, like a postcard. 1 was not our type of place but we were still impressed by the wine and bought a bottle! Really great day and would recommend to others. Just make sure you’ve got cash or your card because you’ll definitely be buying wine (we bought loads!).

We had an amazing day, with our fantastic tour guide Dimitri, on the all day wine tasting tour. Dimitri collected us from our hotel and on the trip to our first stop took time to get to know us all and to give us great information about Cyprus, the local area and the history of the island. The vineyard stops were great and all 3 vineyards we visited were totally different, each having their own unique charm. We stopped for lunch in a beautiful village and the restaurant owner was amazing, offering us a range of authentic Cypriot dishes and made sure we had everything we needed to eat and drink. As a family of 5 we were unsure if this was something we would all enjoy, but Dimitri made sure parents and 20 year olds were equally happy and his attentiveness, knowledge and great itinerary made it a lovely day!

One of the best trips we have ever done. Really well organised. Great wines and fantastic food. Elena was an amazing host and thank you for an amazing experience.

It’s a small group which I preferred. Elena was fantastic and attentive. The views are beautiful. The lunch was a very good representation of local cuisine. I would strongly consider this if you want a day away from the beach.

If you like wine and want to find out a bit more about the growing of the grapes and the different processes they use to make the wine, this is the tour for you. It stopped in a lovely little village in the mountains where we had the opportunity to buy hand made local souvenirs. Paul, our guide was very chatty and informative, and took us to 3 wineries in the mountains where we tried 4 - 6 wines at each one while being given information on them at the same time. We could also buy them too if we wished. If you want to get away from the tourist areas and visit a little of true Cyprus, this trip is certainly worth doing.
