Descripción
Esta es una expedición fotográfica en grupos pequeños a las tribus remotas del Valle de Omo para presenciar algunas de las últimas tribus auténticas que quedan en el continente africano. Estas expediciones fotográficas lo llevarán al lado este del río Omo. En este viaje fotográfico visitarás las tribus Konso, Hamer, Kara y Nyangatom. Pasarás un par de días visitando sus pueblos y mezclándote con las diferentes tribus, aprendiendo su estilo de vida, asistiendo a ceremonias y rituales, y tomando fotos. Habrá suficiente tiempo con buena luz en diferentes días para fotografiar sus actividades cotidianas, su pintura corporal y facial, el pastoreo de ganado, la agricultura y más. Al estar aislado del mundo en rápido movimiento debido a su ubicación remota durante miles de años, el Valle de Omo es realmente un refugio para antropólogos y fotógrafos que buscan una oportunidad fotográfica única para una región menos conocida y rara vez fotografiada.

We had a great time in the Omo Valley all around Jinka although we have tightened time we visit a lot of tribes like Caro, Bena, Hamer... and including the Bena market on the street. People of the Omo Valley are warm heart welcoming people with their culture me and friend had a great Experience. special thanks the organizer Gashu and Eyu and the great Your guider and best Photographer Dr. Hamer with his driver. Hopefully we gonna meet again 😁

We were lucky in travelling at a time with few tourists but had a fantastic time. The company was well organised and very honest. We had good information on the trip and what was expected. Our driver/guide was the perfect balance between giving us interesting information but at the same time allowing us to explore and ask questiions that interested us. The visits to traditional tribes were senstively done and visits were playful and fun. While we were in Addis the company took good care of us. Gasaw was very professional and attentive to our needs. He took us to a very traditional coffee shop which we woud never have found on our own . The traditional dinner dancing and singing was truely memoral.
