Viaje a Belén, Jericó y Qaser Al Yahud - Visita guiada desde Jerusalén
Descripción
Comenzaremos nuestro recorrido conduciendo por las colinas de Judea hasta Belén. A su llegada, recorreremos la ciudad y veremos las atracciones importantes antes de llegar a Manger Square. Allí tendremos una visita guiada a la Iglesia de la Natividad donde nació Jesús en una cueva subterránea sobre la que se construyó la iglesia. Luego realizaremos una corta caminata con el guía hasta la Iglesia de la Gruta de la Leche. Después de terminar, nos dirigiremos al pueblo de Beit Sahour, la ciudad del Pastor. Allí tendremos una visita guiada a la Capilla del Campo del Pastor. Continuando nuestro recorrido tendremos una visita de 25 minutos a una fábrica de madera de olivo y una tienda cooperativa. Por último visitaremos una de las ciudades más singulares en historia y geografía del mundo, Jericó. Visitaremos los sitios bíblicos e históricos más importantes de la ciudad así como el río Jordán. *Asegúrate de traer tu pasaporte. *Es necesario cambiar de vehículo. ¡Todos los horarios son aproximados! * no hay visita al teleférico en este tour

Itinerario
Una visita guiada completa a la Iglesia de la Natividad. La Iglesia es una de las iglesias obreras más antiguas que existen en la actualidad. La primera iglesia fue construida por el emperador romano Constantino en el siglo IV dC, sobre la gruta donde María dio a luz a Jesús. La iglesia está ubicada donde Jesús nació en Belén.
La iglesia de Santa Catalina es un monasterio franciscano. Se dice que se construyó en el sitio de la aparición de Cristo a Santa Catalina de Alejandría y su predicción de su martirio a principios del siglo IV.
La iglesia de la Gruta de la Leche es el lugar donde la Sagrada Familia encontró refugio durante la Masacre de los Inocentes, antes de que pudieran huir a Egipto. El nombre se deriva de la historia de que una "gota de leche" de la Virgen María cayó al suelo de la cueva y cambió su color a blanco.
La Capilla del Campo del Pastor. Marca el lugar donde los ángeles anunciaron por primera vez el nacimiento de Cristo. La Cueva de Jerónimo se encuentra en realidad debajo de la Iglesia de Santa Catalina, y también se puede acceder desde allí. San Jerónimo, un sacerdote de Dalmacia (345-420 d. C.), tradujo gran parte del Antiguo Testamento del hebreo y el griego al latín "Vulgata".
La Orden de la Santísima Virgen María del Monte Carmelo no tiene un solo fundador sino que fue fundada por un grupo de ermitaños que vivían cerca de la “Fuente de Elías” en el Monte Carmelo, con dos raíces de su espiritualidad: el Profeta Elías y la Virgen María. A principios del siglo XIII los ermitaños recibieron una regla de vida, que fue escrita por San Alberto, Patriarca de Jerusalén.
La Iglesia de la Natividad en la Ciudad Vieja de Belén
Aida, también escrito 'Ayda, es un campo de refugiados palestinos situado a 2 kilómetros al norte del centro histórico de Belén ya 1 km al norte de Beit Jala.
La Galería de Arte Bab idDeir es un espacio artístico y cultural independiente en Belén, ubicado en el barrio Deik, parte del casco histórico de la ciudad de Belén.
Deir Hajla o Deir Hijleh es el nombre árabe del Monasterio Ortodoxo Griego de San Gerasimus. Está ubicado en la gobernación de Jericó en Cisjordania, al oeste del río Jordán y al norte del Mar Muerto.
En ese Evangelio, escuchamos que Jesús pasó por Jericó. Zaqueo vivía allí, y era “principal recaudador de impuestos y rico”. Estaba “tratando de ver quién era Jesús”, pero era bajo, así que se subió a “un árbol sicómoro” para verlo pasar. Jesús se detiene y lo llama y se invita a sí mismo a cenar en la casa de Zaqueo, para consternación de la gente de Jericó, y el recaudador de impuestos se convierte en el acto.
El Palacio de Hisham es un importante sitio arqueológico islámico temprano de la dinastía Omeya de la primera mitad del siglo VIII, uno de los llamados castillos del desierto de los Omeyas. Está ubicado en Khirbat al-Mafjar, 5 km al norte de la ciudad de Jericó, Cisjordania.
El Monte de la Tentación se encuentra a unos 3 kilómetros al noroeste de Jericó, que está a unos 58 kilómetros al este de Jerusalén, Israel. La montaña está en el desierto de Judea y domina el valle del Jordán. Después de ser bautizado por Juan el Bautista, Jesús se retiró al desierto para meditar y ayunar, esta montaña en la que se cree que Jesús pasó los 40 días y 40 noches de contemplación espiritual. No tomamos teleférico ni visitamos la montaña en este tour.
Tell es-Sultan, también conocido como Tel Jericho o Ancient Jericho, es el sitio de la antigua y bíblica Jericho y hoy es un sitio arqueológico nominado por la UNESCO en Cisjordania, ubicado a dos kilómetros al norte del centro de Jericó
En el museo se exhiben restos arqueológicos, incluida una gran cantidad de hermosos mosaicos del período bizantino. Un ala del museo está dedicada a la historia de la comunidad samaritana, su historia y costumbres.

A very good good tour. Monday was a slow day, so not a lot of people. Tour guys were really informative. Importante to bring cash for Jericho entrances. I recommend.
Certainly Bethelem is worth a whole day of visit, but if you need to save time, this excursion going also to Jericó and Jordan river is very convenient. It´s possible to feel a bit of the desert during the trip and the palestinian side of Israel. My tour didn´t go to the cable car and the monastry inJerico. They replaced it with the mosaic Al Hashim, which is magnificent and I really support this change.
We REALLY enjoyed this opportunity to safely see some of the renowned sites within the West Bank. Bethlehem was an absolute highlight! As was our first guide, Elias. He was wonderfully informative and engaging... but best of all, he was HILARIOUS. He could be a stand-up comedian, I kid you not. His comedic timing was impeccable and that helped to keep our daughters -- ages 11 and 13 -- absolutely enthralled with his recounting of historic, religious history. The afternoon at the Jordan River and Jericho were also good, as was the guide.. But it's the morning session that convinced us this was an excellent investment. The ONLY disappointment: This tour suggested a brief stop at (or at least drive by of) a Palestinian refugee camp... that did not happen. Not sure if it was due to timing or what, but I had personally hoped for that part of the tour, as well, to help round out the "balance" of our overall experience. Overall, I still highly recommend this tour!
very nice trip. we had a guide also for the second part (Jerico and Giordano) even if it was not included in the tour. Second guide, by the way, excellent!!!
The birthplace of Jesus was very beautiful and the holiest place in the world the church is very big and attractive the tour guide was very funny and brilliant he explained everything about the church and all the holy places in Bethlehem he makes our visit unforgettable Thank you.

This was one of the best experiences we had on our trip. We absolutely loved the different tour guides we worked with and the knowledge and experiences that they shared with us. I was a little worried seeing the itinerary that it would be too many churches that would all blend together and bore my young kids, but each one was very different and had so many different stories to share. One slight problem - when booking, I was mostly concerned with avoiding activities on Shabbat that would be closed to us but I didn't think about the fact that all of these churches would have services on Sundays that would make it difficult to see them. Toward the beginning of the day it worked out in our favor because we had extra time to squeeze in a few other sights that normally weren't included on the tour. But we ended up having a very long wait at the Nativity Church to wait until the services concluded and the other people in the church kept getting annoyed at us waiting there. On the other hand, our guides were on top of it and made sure we were among the first in line, while other groups had a significantly longer wait. I think one of the best things about the tour though was that I not only got to learn fascinating facts about the rich history (my mind can't even comprehend the thousands of years of people that all were in that area) but also a lot about the modern problems and the different opinions of different local people depending on which side of the wall they live. It put so much into perspective for me.

The tour guides were very knowledgable and were very kind people. Felt always safe and in competent hands which was very important to me. The guides were eager to answer every question that arised and looked on the issues of the visited area with a refreshingly neutral view.
