The driver showed up in time at our hotel in Luxor. Nice and quick drive to our hotel in Hurgada. Easy booking and payment, very good customer service trough WhatsApp.
No honking, no overspeeding, no smoking and no texting while driving. Something hard to see in Egypt but the driver had the decency to make our journey from Luxor to Hurghada as comfortable as possible. Our driver, Jad, was superb. Kudos to him.

After booking, we were hopeful for a pleasant experience, however, we were met with issues right from the very start. The driver spoke no English whatsoever so communication was impossible. He also didn't get in touch to let us know pickup confirmation, time, etc until 11:30pm the night before. The driver also stopped on many occasions, for cigarettes, at a service station for his car to be serviced, almost hitting a member of staff on the way in through the exit, stopped from a drink for himself, delaying us massively. He was also driving erratically. He almost spun out of control when driving to Hurghada, so had to tell him to slow down. He was doing 169 at the time and lowered it to around 120 (speed limit) after being told. Also, on the tour it states we get refreshments but none where provided, and our stop at Dendara temple wasn't included despite us paying for this. We tried to question this but he kept telling us "no English" and just smiling. When we tried to contact the company, we were met with hostility and abuse. We had to cease contact, inform viator who asked for evidence, which we provided then they stepped in to tell the company not to contact us again. Viator absolutely saved us from this awful experience.

We had a smooth transfer from Luxor to Hurghada. Driver was on time and arranged a stop half way, which was a welcome break. All arranged door to door with good communication. Car was comfortable and clean 👍
