My wife and I have been visiting Portugal (Ferragudo) for eight years over the last decade. Each visit, we ensure that we book Stork Transfers to take us from Faro Airport to our destination in Ferragudo. As in previous years, the service provided by Stork Transfers was what we had expected - top-rated service. Upon our arrival, I received a text from the Stork driver to let him know when we had cleared passport control, so that he could time his arrival. Once my wife and I entered the arrivals hall at Faro Airport, the Stork representative (in his distinctive purple shirt) warmly greeted us and assisted in taking our luggage to the car. The drive from Faro Airport to Ferragudo takes approximately 45 minutes, and the ride is very comfortable. When you book with Stork Travel, you have the option to pay online by credit card or settle the fare with the driver in cash - we chose the latter option. As we also booked the return trip to the airport, what we paid for the drive was the full amount of the round trip. We had booked our return trip to the airport to be collected at our resort at 0800 on the day of our travel. As in previous years, the driver arrived promptly, a few minutes before 0800. I give Stork Transfers the highest rating for transfers. We will be definitely be using them again next September.

Very nice driver, was there overtime, drove safely. He had child seat with him too! Value for money top!
Worked great, picked us up on time and pleasant conversation for the ride back to the airport. Didn’t get correspondence before they made it to the hotel but it all worked out.

Excellent company. Booked weeks ago for my 18 year old daughter to get a transfer from her accommodation in Albufeira to the airport (Faro). The communication and professionalism was fantastic and I was reassured that they would do a good job. They came on time and delivered my daughter to the airport efficiently. Very grateful. I am unsure whether this concern should be directed to Viator or the tour operator, Stork Transfer. I had booked a transfer from Albufeira to Faro Airport for $55.00, but the driver never arrived. Upon contacting the tour operator, I was informed that they had not received any information regarding my booking. As a result, I was forced to call a taxi, which cost me 68.60 euros ($107.00 CAD). Since this issue was not due to any error on my part, I believe I should be refunded the difference. Additionally, it is disappointing that Viator does not provide an email address for direct complaint submissions.
Good morning. As you know and you were in Portugal at that time on April 28th there was a general blackout in Portugal all day. Please read the news: https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2025/04/28/spain-portugal-and-parts-of-france-hit-by-massive-power-outage As a result of this, our email server went down and for that reason we were without email for 3 days and it was impossible to receive your reservation on the 29th. However, you had our telephone and WhatsApp contact details and since you made your reservation less than 24 hours before, you could have contacted us through these channels, as you did when you realized that the driver was not there at the time you booked. We understand your frustration with this situation, but believe me, we were much more affected and were the most affected. However, we think it is unfair of you to give us one star since this situation was completely out of our control. Of course you will receive your refund. Compliments Stork Transfers
