Traslado Samarcanda a Dushanbé

Everything was perfect! Great communication before the day, smooth ride to the border, and easy pickup on the other side. Would absolutely use this service again!

The whole trip was excellent, thank you very much. On our way to the border we had to stop at a pharmacy, which we were very grateful for. After we crossed the border we couldn't have asked for a more helpful and kind driver, he was amazing. It was a great way to begin our time in Tajikistan.

Commnication upfront with operator was easy and swift. Driver came on time and was friendly. Car was well maintained and clean. Detour to Iskanderkul ist definitely recommended. Beware that the road to Dushanbe is somewhat adventerous as it goes through the infamous Anzob tunnel.

Our driver was efficient and safe, happy to use Google translate to communicate, and happy to drive to Iskanderkul for us to view it. He also stopped for lunch about half way to the lake and was willing to stop for bathroom breaks if needed or pull over for photos. He would even slow the vehicle when safe if we rolled down the window to take a photo! The tour organizer seemed inconvenienced by us wanting to go to the lake, informing us that this was only meant to be a transfer despite what the tour listing said but overall wasn't bad to work with. The lake itself was ok but the drive to and from was the really breathtaking part!

Fantastic overland transfer from Dushanbe to Samarkand. Journey took six hours, door to door, including the border crossing. Very smooth and efficient journey and process. My drivers Madhi from Dushanbe to the Uzbek border and Sharom from the border to my Samarkand hotel were excellent - friendly, safe drivers. Incredible scenery along the route. Highly recommended.

My 15 year old son and I had a fine experience with this transfer. Prompt pick up and smooth drop off at the border. The driver sent a photo to the pick up car in Tajikistan to help with the transfer. It took about 45 -55 minutes to go through customs, then it was about 6 hours to Dushanbe. The driver and his brother were very friendly, and he could tell us some things about different sites with his limited English. Super kind and we felt completely safe on the trip for both rides. The drive on the Tajikistan side was absolutely beautiful- glad I chose to take the drive then fly. If I was feeling a bit better I would have added the 3 hour free detour to the must see Iskandarkul.
