The driver communicated to me, tracked the flight and arranged to meet me at the prescribed location. Overall the experience was exceptional...as was the driver, after a very long travel day.
My sisters and I had an frustrating experience with Viator regarding customer service on a recent trip in San Miguel de Allende. We booked transport from San Miguel de Allende to Leon on the day of our departure. The original pick up time was as 10:30. Our flights changed during our travels in Mexico. I messaged the tour operator and no response. Messaged again in Spanish no response. Knowing we needed a change to our pickup time and not receiving any response I contacted Viator customer service. They shared we had to communicate specifically with the tour operator. We waited 2 days with 2 more messages in English and Spanish and still no reply. In order to be guaranteed a pick we called again and asked what next steps could we take. They said they would communicate with the operator. They didnt get a replay. We had to book with another company as a result to guarantee a safe and reliable transport to get back home. The day prior to heading home we contacted customer service to ask for a refund and they said NO. I'm frustrated and completely dissatisfied that I spent time on my vacation doing a job I've already paid for. What's more discouraging is I've used Viator in the past for excursions on my travels. They didnt provide the service we paid for, they didnt provide resolution. This is just bad business.
Our driver was right on time and kept in touch with me starting with the day before our trip to the airport
We requested a ride from our hotel to the airport and the driver never showed up. Called the contact number and no one answered. Sent messages through the chat function and no response. I do not recommend this service and I am in the process of getting a refund.
I booked a private sedan transfer from the airport to San Miguel. I was picked up late. The driver kept texting that he was coming but he must have been far away.The driver finally arrived in a van full of other passengers. We traveled in the van offsite from the airport to a parking lot 20 minutes away to retrieve the driver’s car. The backseat was small and uncomfortable for 2 hour ride to San Miguel
We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Due to local airport regulations, we must pick up passengers in a van and transfer them to a nearby parking lot to board their private vehicle. We understand this may have caused discomfort and appreciate your feedback as we work to improve the experience.
Worst experience ever… This is a trip advisor company so you’d think it would be a good service. I setup a ride from San Miguel to the airport. Driver never showed up or answered calls. The only option we have is to call the driver but didn’t matter. I ended up taking an Uber for 1.5 hours and it was cheaper.

Carlos was on time, friendly, and knowledgable, sharing information about local tourism on our ride to the airport. I will book him again for airport transportation or tours when I return.
since 2018, Letty and Sergio with Viajes San Miguel and Silver Wheels have made sure I got to visit dad every month and since he passed, twice a month. never a missed pick up, mechanical failure.
