Our Cultural and Historical city tour, where a local guide will accompany you from your arrival at the port of Callao and will pick you up in a tourist transport and then go to the heart of the historic center of Lima and on the way, you will tell the historical background of the old viceroyalty of the Peru, then we will visit the most emblematic places of the city of the kings, such as the museum and convent of San Francisco, the Plaza de Armas of Lima and the archaeological center Huaca Pucllana.

Llegada al Puerto del Callao Iniciamos nuestro recorrido recogiendo a cada viajero desde El Puerto del Callao. ¡Bienvenido a Perú! Desembarca en el histórico Puerto del Callao y tómate un tiempo para explorar este puerto marítimo icónico. Se ofrece recogida al viajero Punto de encuentro:
Visitaremos el Parque del Amor situado en el famoso barrio de Miraflores, es una de las mejores cosas que hacer en Lima. Inaugurado el día de San Valentín en 1993, en honor a los enamorados, este es el lugar perfecto para pasear y sentarse en sus bancos, realizados con mosaicos de colores que recuerdan al Park Güell de Barcelona, mientras lees las diferentes frases de poetas dedicadas al amor. En el parque también se encuentra la famosa escultura «El beso», del escultor peruano Víctor Delfín, y un jardín de flores en forma de corazón.
La Huaca Pucllana es un antiguo complejo arqueológico ubicado en Lima, Perú. Su vista panorámica ofrece una impresionante visión de una estructura piramidal preincaica que se destaca en medio de la ciudad moderna. Descubre la historia ancestral de Lima mientras contemplas la majestuosidad de la Huaca Pucllana desde el exterior y aprecias la fusión única entre la cultura precolombina y la vida contemporánea. ¡Visita este fascinante sitio arqueológico y sumérgete en el pasado de Perú!
Continuando nuestra aventura llegaremos a PLAZA SAN MARTIN. Una vez lleguemos a esta plaza te encontrarás rodeado de edificios históricos como el Teatro Colón, el edificio Giacoletti y el Gran Hotel Bolívar y en el centro de la plaza la estatua en honor al general San Martín, gestor de la independencia de Perú.
El Jirón de la Unión es, desde muchos años, la principal vía del Centro Histórico de Lima. Posee historia, colorido y una atractiva actividad comercial. Recorre con nosotros lo mejor de sus once cuadras. Partiendo desde la PLAZA SAN MARTIN, empezamos a “jironear” al lado del Palacio de Gobierno, que ocupa toda una cuadra hasta llegar a la Plaza Mayor. En esta recta se ubica el Palacio Municipal y el famoso Club de la Unión. Unos pasos más y hallaremos, quizá, el ejemplo de Art Nouveau (movimiento artístico francés) más importante de Lima: el estudio fotográfico de los hermanos Courret. En la cuadra 5 se encuentra la Casa O’Higgins, actualmente conservada por la PUCP y convertida en sala de exposiciones; y a pocos metros de allí podremos disfrutar del novedoso helado de pisco sour que ofrece la Heladería Esbari.
Nuestra próxima parada es la iglesia de Nuestra Señora de La Merced que data del siglo XVI. Cruzando la avenida Emancipación veremos lo que queda del célebre Palais Concert, lugar de reunión de la élite intelectual limeña durante los años 20 y 40. En la Plaza San Martín nos recibe el primer hotel de lujo de nuestra capital, el Hotel Bolívar, y el imponente, pero en desuso, Teatro Colón. Dos construcciones que nos recuerdan el esplendor de la Lima de antaño.
La Plaza de Armas o Plaza Mayor, situada en el corazón del centro histórico y en el mismo lugar donde en 1535 el conquistador Francisco Pizarro fundó la ciudad, es uno de los lugares que visitar en Lima más importantes. Rodeada por algunos de los edificios más importantes de la ciudad como la Catedral, el Palacio de Gobierno, el Palacio Arzobispal y la Iglesia del Sagrario, esta espaciosa plaza también es un buen punto de encuentro entre los turistas y locales alrededor de una bonita fuente, al ser el lugar más famoso y concurrido de la ciudad.
Otro de los lugares que visitaremos en Lima que más te impresionara será el Monasterio de San Francisco, situado cerca de la Plaza de Armas. Muy famoso por sus catacumbas y su increíble biblioteca, donde se pueden admirar miles de textos antiguos, algunos de la época de la conquista española este monasterio tiene además una basílica donde destaca el altar mayor de estilo neoclásico, la sacristía, la sala capitular y el claustro. También es conocido por sus enormes catacumbas donde descansan unos 70000 cadáveres, algunos de ellos en criptas repletas de huesos que han sido colocados incluso «con sentido decorativo».

We were in a 14 passenger van without a speaker system which made it extremely stop hear our guide. Between his accent and soft voice we missed probably half of his comments
Patrick was a very enthusiastic guide who went over and above to make sure we had a very enjoyable day.
Don't take the tour if there is a protest in Lima as the city gets gridlocked and you spend lots of time in the. mnii bus.to
We had a very extensive tour of some of the historical places in Lima. Our guide, Roxanna, did a superb job of providing commentary on the places we visited and other information about Lima. She is one of the best guides we have had during our visit to South America. We managed to stop for lunch even though it wasn’t part of the schedule and had a short stop to buy some items. Highly recommend this tour.
1st off, he changed the pickup location. He wasn't holding a sign with a company name, just a blank orange flag, which we were both stressed out before the tour even started! He said he would be in front of the church, but was closer to the main road. If he held a sign with Inca Trilogy Tours we would have seen him as we exited the bus! We spent way too much time traveling from one place to the other, waited too long to see the attractions we went to see, way too much & fast unexpected walking, way to fast of a pace, too much narration at each location. He did comment that some of us were slow.. one lady had had a stroke, I pulled a muscle in my leg on the bus, of course we were slow!! Hard to hear and understand Patrick. An English speaking tour NEEDS a guide that speaks better English. Patrick was Informative & is nice guy but he needs to shorten his rhetoric by half. No one ever had an opportunity to shop for souvenirs OR food & drink. That long of a tour needs to include at least a local snack or time enough to grab something to eat. I am hypoglycemia, by the time we got to the cathedral I thought I was going to pass out, so I grabbed a piece of Peruvian custard cake outside the cathedral. No food allowed so I never got to go inside for the tour. This was a MAJOR disappointment, as churches, cathedrals & ancient graveyards/burial grounds are my absolute FAVORITE thing to see. I had to request water, but it wasn't cold, but almost room temperature, it needs to be chilled on such a hot, active day. And we only got one bottle per person for a 5 hour tour.. I felt rushed & uninformed at the end of the day. Everyone on the tour felt stressed over getting to the transport bus back to the ship. Too many participates on the tour, not at all personalized. I will NEVER EVER step foot in the city of Lima, Peru again in my lifetime & will NOT recommend this tour to another soul! Offer authentic cultural Tours about life before moderization invaded the world, instead of big, ugly, dirty & overcrowded city tours. I believe alot of people would enjoy that much better! I know these two Beavers would!!
This tour gives you a nice taste of highlights in the area. Lovers Park, St. Francis of Assisi church and the catacombs, central Lima, and the Huaca Pullacana ruins. Patrick was an Excellent guide!!! Great command of English, passionate and knowledgeable about his country and an excellent teller of history.

Wonderful informative tour by Patrick . Went to Huaca Pacllano and the catacombs also town center . Patrick took his time explaining the history of the Peruvian people Enjoyed a delicious churro. Interesting being driven through Lima traffic
This tour takes all day. Bus shuttle from ship 8:00, returned at 4:45 no lunch stop, only a bottle of water offered at 1:00. A lot of walking.
