Itinerario
Durante este recorrido, experimentará más naturaleza y hermosos paisajes, comenzaremos conduciendo hacia el increíble naufragio del carguero español Cabo Santa María, que encalló el 1 de septiembre de 1968, que encontraremos en Praia Boa Esperanza, se encuentra aproximadamente a 6 km al noreste de la capital de la isla, Sal Rei.
Aquí nos tomaremos un tiempo para admirar la tienda de recuerdos y la fábrica de cerámica local y ver la primera iglesia histórica de la isla.
Hermosas dunas de arena intactas. No es algo que veamos muy a menudo, por eso dedicaremos un tiempo a hacer fotos y jugar en las dunas. Es un lugar perfecto y único para la fotografía y la filmación.
Esta parte del recorrido será la mayor atracción, la playa de Santa Mónica es conocida por su increíble paisaje. Aquí podrá relajarse y divertirse nadando en el océano cristalino y disfrutando de un magnífico almuerzo local en el restaurante de Boca Beach.
La playa de Varandinha es una playa paradisíaca. Aquí tendrás tiempo para explorar las formaciones rocosas que tiene junto a la arena y la cueva natural con vistas al mar.
Morro de Areia es otro hermoso paisaje que se extiende por un kilómetro a lo largo de la costa. Donde tendrá tiempo para disfrutar de la vista mágica y tomar fotografías increíbles. Un lugar único donde el océano se encuentra con las dunas doradas. Obs: ANTES de conducir a Morro de Areia, nos detendremos en Shark Bay para ver si podemos observar los tiburones y las tortugas verdes que generalmente se ven en esta área. Tiempo en la zona: 20 min

Wonderful island, friendly and serene inhabitants, NO STRESS!!, deserted beaches even in late July! Wonderful sea and also quiet. Sal Rei I really appreciated it. Exhaustive tour that gives a good idea of how the island is made and its natural beauty. Calou really nice, prepared and a great driver. He advised us against visiting the beach of the shipwreck proposing alternative. Recommended experience although quite expensive for a full day. Drive just for us.

We had a wonderful time visiting the southern part of the island with Calu. We especially enjoyed the vast dunes and the stunning Santa Monica Beach. Calu was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the southern reaches of Boa Vista.

Great experience today with Calu. He is at once a driver, a French-speaking guide but above all a huge amateur of his beautiful country. It was a wonderful tour with a wonderful guide, Calu. He let us decide where we wanted to go and let us spend as much time at each place as we desired. I was almost forced to go to BOA VISTA to please the family. I was skeptical as I am not a lover of the sea at the beach, the heat and the sun. I changed my mind. Perhaps November is the best month, the island is still green and more than I imagined, because it is sprayed by the rains of late summer. The temperature around 27 °C is deliciously mitigated by the Trade Winds. The beach life, asked by my family did not weigh on me. I found very good restaurants both of local and international food, if you are not "schifiltosi" try the places where the locals eat. Finally take the island tour (if you can avoid doing it with pick up caravans). Don't miss to visit the Viano Desert, walk barefoot in the white sand coming from the Sahara, Santa Monica Praia one of the most beautiful and longest in the world (be careful to swim, the strong ocean waves can be very dangerous). Pleasant town of Sal Rei where you should not miss to visit the "Museu Dos Naufragos". And so much more. If you can it is better to rent an apartment and free yourself from the crowding of tourist resorts. The people are friendly and with them it is easy to communicate and if you love deep sea fishing it is your place.
We did the southern tour as a couple with Calu. Swimming Santa Monica Beach was sensational (with crabs the min. 15cm tall), caves were great and we even saw turtles. Since we had booked as a couple he could adjust the timing to us and had good info in english without excessive "touri-talk". Thank you so much!
