- Due to the high demand for tickets, availability to visit the Colosseum and Vatican Museums will only be confirmed once the tour has been booked. In case of lack of tickets it will still be possible to take the tour but with other destinations.

Absolutely amazing. There’s no way we could’ve seen all that we did on our own. Driver Stefano and guide Patricia were awesome.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had a very good experience with our Rome excursion during our cruise stop in Civitavecchia. The vehicle was clean, modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable for our family throughout the day. Our driver was professional, knowledgeable, and navigated the busy areas very well. Communication leading up to the excursion could have been a bit more proactive during the 24-hours before, as there were periods where updates felt quieter than we expected before such a major tour day. While everything ultimately came together smoothly, a little more communication beforehand would have helped us feel more prepared and reassured in advance of the excursion. During the day, the communication style was direct and fast-paced at times, which we understood is common in the industry given how many schedules and tourists guides manage each day. The day itself focused primarily on Rome’s architectural landmarks and historical sites, which was impressive and memorable. We were able to see many iconic locations and learn a lot about the city’s history and culture. While the experience followed a very structured itinerary, it was still a smooth and enjoyable way to experience Rome in one day from the cruise port. We were especially grateful for the luxury of having a private ride and front-of-the-line access at several locations. Being able to avoid long lines and much of the heat made the day far more comfortable and allowed us to maximize our time seeing the city instead of waiting in crowds. Lunch at Osteria dei Pontefici was also very enjoyable with good food, a nice atmosphere, and a relaxing break during a busy sightseeing day.
Nikolai and Andreas arrived at our hotel early and on time to pick us up. We did not have to wonder where they were. Also, we were picked up in a Mercedes van that was very neat and clean. What a nice vehicle to be taken around Rome for our tour! We were taken to several tourist attractions in one day which we would never had been able to accomplish on our own without Nikolai and his ability to navigate these landmarks. We saw the best parts of these attractions because Nikolai knew how to swiftly get us to these places. He personalized our tour to our requests. For instance, we were dropped off at the Vatican at our designated ticket time. We walked a major portion of the Vatican grounds and had our car pick us up at the exit. Very convenient. We would never have seen all 7 sites of our tour had we not booked this private tour. It was well worth the cost based on the time we had in Rome. We had the next day to ourselves and Nikolai provided several suggestions on what we could to on our own for that 2nd day.
Nikoli and Andreas did a fantastic job of showing our family the highlights of the beautiful city of Rome in a day. This was our first time to Italy and we wanted to see as much as we could with the time we had. Obviously, you could spend weeks just in Rome taking all the culture and history in, but we were able to see things we had never seen before. The day was made much more valuable having Nikoli providing historical context to everything we were seeing, instead of simply visually taking it all in. Thank you for a really special day.
This tour was a great experience - we had limited time to have a full tour of Rome. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and very helpful. We were able to see all the most interesting sites in Rome in an 8-hour tour - The private tour was performed timely, comfortably and very enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour.
Easy access from our ship. Our driver, Stephano, was knowledgeable and very safe. Patricia, our tour guide, was just like another family member. She was delightfully funny and extremely knowledgeable especially avoiding crowds. We enjoyed this tour so much, we arranged for another private tour in the next City! P.S. On a Viking Cruise and was able to see everything on the list. Our guide was Nicola and our driver was Antonio (gorgeous men, just saying). The pace was just right, not too fast nor too slow. Our excellent driver picked us up right in front of our ship in Civitavecchia. We never waited more than a few minutes to enter Pantheon, Coliseum and Vatican. Back on the ship right on time. 10 out of 10 would book again.
Nikoli was an exceptional tour guide! He was flexible with our family (we had 3 young kids with us). He was extremely informative, fun, and easy-going. We got so many great insights into the history of Rome, and we thoroughly enjoyed having him with us for the day. We will definitely call him next time we visit Rome.
This was an excellent trip. Andrea was the driver and Nicola was the guide. They picked us up at the hotel and were on time. They were both very friendly and accommodating. Nicola has a fantastic personality and was born in Rome. He is an excellent Historian as well which made the tour intriguing all the way through. We learned so much on this trip about the Vatican, art, artists, museums, and all the historical sites we visited. And we learned about Rome along the way to our destinations. It was myself, husband, and our 25 and 23 year old son and daughter, (and they LOVED IT!). They actually said they wished we booked Nicola for all of our tours because he was that good and entertaining. Access was simplified, not waiting in long lines was great, and a personalized experience is the only way to go. In a short time we maximized the highlights of Rome. I highly reccommend this tour and guide. We had fun and a lot of laughs.
Patricia & Mauricio did a fantastic job getting us to most of our stops. We had to skip a few because of crowds and time constraints but Patricia was so very knowledgeable on the history of Rome & its many historical sites. The little restaurant that Patricia recommended for lunch, Osteria del Pontefici, was authentic. & delicious with fresh, homemade food; especially the pasta.
