Worthwhile kayak tour
I highly recommend this kayak tour! It was so much more fun than doing a standard cave boat tour. Even though I went on a busy day with several other tour companies out at the same time, it never felt like a 'traffic jam.' I brought my phone in a waterproof pouch and was so happy I did, as I got some really great photos.
We met at the marina and boarded a very clean, comfortable boat with great music and excellent company. They let us go to the front of the boat to take more pictures as it's navigating! Gabriel our guide and the boat captain were incredibly nice. It was a fantastic experience!

Amazing experience
Had an absolutely amazing kayaking experience with Boomshaka! 🌊🛶 The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish — great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and brilliant guidance from the team and Gabriel. Everyone was friendly, professional and made the experience so much fun.

Incredible! The excursion is worth it! We were very well taken care of by the captain and guide Gabriel! From the moment it started until the excursion ended! Super fun to do with a partner, family, and friends! Kayak for 2, the guide takes you through the caves of Ponta da Piedade but with freedom and without rushing! At the end and upon returning you can cool off in the water! I recommend wearing a swimsuit because you can jump off the boat and observe from the water! The scenery is incredible! Thank you very much ❤️

Kayaking/Sunset tour exceeded expectations
AMAZING!! Went on both the sunset cruise and the kayak tour, my friend loved the cruise so much she went twice! Shaun and his staff are 10/10, kayaking through the cliffs was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. If it was the only thing I did in Lagos I would be happy :D

A real flop
The tour operator that sold us the tour had told us that the kayak tour for the Lagos caves would last 2 hours; in reality, we spent not even 1 hour in the water in the kayak, with a very slow group, so we just had enough time to see 4 caves, and we spent all the rest of the time on the boat loading and unloading the kayaks, while the rest of the kayak tours passed by us, taking a nice route starting from the beach and along the side of the cliff and through the caves. They had also said that we would have 20 minutes to go snorkeling or swimming, while instead the time was just enough to wait for the loading of all the kayaks and leave. I absolutely do not recommend it, 30€ per person for not even 1 hour of kayaking, and the "guide" in the water giving 2 measly and ridiculous explanations of the few caves seen.

We are sorry to hear that the clients were not fully satisfied with their experience, and we would like to clarify how the tour is presented and operated.
The excursion is sold as a kayak boat tour package, rather than as a two-hour kayak tour. From the beginning, the tour is explained as a boat trip during which the boat carries the kayaks to the grotto area. The kayaks are then put into the water, and the clients enjoy approximately one hour of kayaking through the grottos.
After the kayaking section, the kayaks are placed back onto the racks on the boat. During this time, clients are welcome to swim in the water close to the boat while the crew safely secures the kayaks.
The safety of the group as a whole must always be our priority. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for individual differences in pace when some members of a group are slower than others. The crew must ensure that the entire group remains together and that the activity is conducted safely for everyone.
The standard price of the two-hour boat tour package is €35 per person. However, when the booking was made, we decided to offer the family group a special price of €30 per person.
We sincerely apologise that the clients were not satisfied with the experience. We would also like to mention that the other members of the group appeared very happy with the tour and gave many compliments to our boat crew.
We hope this clarifies how the excursion is structured and the reasons for the way the tour is conducted.

Wonderful experience.
A spectacular experience from start to finish!
We did the kayak tour with BoomShaka and we couldn't be happier. From the pickup to the end of the excursion, everything was perfectly organized. The place is simply marvelous and makes the experience even more special.
Both the boat guide and the kayak guide were incredible: very attentive, kind, professional, and always ensuring that we enjoyed ourselves and felt safe. The treatment was exceptional.
Without a doubt, a completely recommendable experience. If you are thinking about taking this excursion, do not hesitate. We would repeat it without a second thought!

Small group - the best personalized tour.
David took us on a wonderful tour to see a coastal line up close. The pickup spot, the fast ride to the caves, the kayaking through the caves, and swimming in the ocean - all was wonderful and well organized. We had just 5 people, which made the experience easy and personalized. We are taking great photos with memories attached back home, and dream of coming back to the caves once again.
