So close, so calm. We also saw Jacanas, Kingfishers, African Fish Eagle and many more. Very professional, safe boats, local guides who really respect the birds. We had a great experience on the shoebill tour. We were very lucky and found a shoebill quite quickly. Even though it started raining heavily, it was still absolutely worth it. Our guide was very patient throughout the tour, shared lots of interesting information about the shoebill and its habitat, and never rushed us. He even gave me extra time to stay and observe the bird despite the rain, without any complaints. I really appreciated that.
