Our driver was great. He didn't race through the park like so many others did. We saw birds & animals many others would definitely have missed.
Great safari experience. Guide really helped us see as many animals as possible including elephants, leopard, crocodiles and even bears. Would recommend.
The safari was great and very well organized, seamless. We saw leopards, elephants, monkeys, a bear, and so on. The guide, Yasanka, was very good. Serious and attentive. He was keen to show us as many animals as possible. I recommend it!
Super organized tour. After a punctual pickup, we were among the first in the park and, thanks to the driver's experience and a bit of luck, saw a leopard right away. Super catering, lots of explanations about the animals, simply an all-around great day!
Had the best time! Srimal was such a nice and good guide, he really took it upon himself to try and get us the best sightings . I bumped into a local naturalist in town who said we were extremely lucky to sight the big main 3 animals including leopard, sloth bear (although very shy and quick running) and elephants. I thought it was a very tasty lunch of rice, curry and fresh fruit. The fancier operators had a buffet but if you wanted you could but it at the rest spot which goes for 2 hours. We did a full day and I recommend since in the morning we saw the sloth bear and only saw the elephants and leopard in the afternoon. I spoke to someone who was doing 2 x half days as an alternative. For our morning tea Srimal found a really beautiful pond where no one else was which was very peaceful watching the rare birds, deer, crocodiles and buffalo. We paid $50 USD plus 13,000 Sri Lankan rupees which was significantly cheaper for the same thing with other operators charging $130 USD - the benefits of those was more luxury food, some were given hats and rented out binoculars. I would recommend asking before the trip where you could rent binoculars.
Our guide, Srimal, was excellent and made sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. Communication and pick-up were smooth, and we spent the whole day exploring the park. Srimal was very knowledgeable, pointing out animals and sharing interesting facts about them. We were lucky enough to see a sloth bear, elephants, and even a leopard! Highly recommend this safari!
An incredible and unforgettable experience. Our driver Madu is a great guide; he managed to find many animals, including two leopards! Halfway through the tour, we stopped at the picnic area, and Madu had prepared a delicious homemade breakfast for us. In the end, he even sent us the photos he took during the tour. I recommend it 100%.
Amazing experience! The service was excellent, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard. A massive thank you to our incredible driver. The food was also fantastic (shoutout for the delicious cooking!). It’s a wonderful local business—definitely book with them!
Our first activity in Sri Lanka as part of our honeymoon, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Our driver and guide, Hasantha, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, making the whole day feel comfortable, reassuring, and stress-free. We visited several amazing locations, including a turtle conservation centre, enjoyed a relaxing boat ride through the mangroves, and visited Cinnamon Island where we learned how cinnamon is traditionally produced entirely by hand – something that was fascinating to see and well worth experiencing. The day was rounded off with a guided walk around Galle Fort, which was a great way to learn more about the area’s history and culture. Hasantha also kindly accommodated a stop at a large supermarket so we could pick up a few essentials, which was greatly appreciated. A huge thank you to Hasantha and the company he works with for helping make our first excursion in Sri Lanka such a memorable one. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
