We had a fantastic driver! Stopped at a lemon farm for a delicious lunch. Highly recommend a tour guide for Pompeii it’s a large site and the tour guide showed us all the highlights, answered all our questions and gave us comparisons to Herculaneum (which we went to the day before). Our driver recommended great spot on a fishing town for lunch it was delicious.

We paid a lot of money for a VIP experience and booked a long way in advance but on the day we were told that the company didn't have enough tickets available for us to climb Mt Vesuvius. We don't know if that's because other groups had been prioritised, or whether there was a different issue. But it was a huge disappointment and while we were given an alternative activity (a visit to Amalfi), our trip was to see Pompeii and climb Mt Vesuvius - everything else was going to be a bonus. Our driver, Antonio, however, was fabulous and if the review was about our experience with him on the day, we would give a 5 star review.

We had a magnificent trip with Roberto. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. He took 9 of us from Rome to Naples for a fabulous pizza lunch. Then to Pompeii (he hired an amazing child friendly guide) and the Amalfi Coast. Several days later he picked us up from the Amalfi Coast and took us to a fantastic mozzarella farm in Sorento and back to Rome. We loved EVERY minute of it. His communication was perfect. VERY responsive! We cannot recommend him higher! We can't wait to go back to Italy and spend time with him again soon! Please don't hesitate for a second! He will make your trip seamless!

The entire trip was amazing. Our guide was exceptional and tailored our experience to our family (ages 8-14 children). There was something for everyone!

I cannot recommend Touring Italy enough. Roberto D’ Allesandro treated us like family from the start. If you want to feel like a celebrity, book a trip with Roberto. We never had to look around for him he just seemed to always be there when we needed him. We gave him our list of things we wanted and he made it happen with ease (for us at least). He organized a very nice tour of Pompeii that kept our younger kids entertained, and when the tour of Mt. Vesuvius was canceled for weather he immediately scheduled a wine tasting that worked for the whole family (even kids who are not easily entertained). He personally gave us a beautiful tour of the Amalfi Coast including the Emerald Grotto which was supposed to have been closed followed by shopping and even helped us find food for my daughter who has a peanut allergy. He arranged a pasta making class that involved everyone and they even got my son to eat something new. When all the boats to Capri were unavailable Roberto found us a private boat. The only thing he could not do was stop the rain! Communication throughout the trip was constant with none of the guesswork in a busy trip. He refused to talk about payment until he dropped us at the train station (he also arranged the train to Rome and a car in Rome for us). Very polite and perfect English. Whether it is tickets, tours, transport or advice, book with Roberto if you don’t want to worry.

Roberto was very accomodating. Worked with us to plan exactly what we wanted. He was flexible and made last minute changes. Very professional. Our private tour was so easy. He picked us up straight from the train station. We didn't have to worry about anything all day. Our transportation was always right out front waiting for us. We were able to see so much in our short time in Naples/Pompeii thanks to Touring Italy. Pompeii was really something awesome to see in person.
