Our Vatican tour was great with Alasandra and Crown tours! She was clear, kind, went at a good pace and kept the groups together. We really enjoyed the history about everything in the Vatican museums !
Zara was an excellent tour guide. Very professional and knowledgeable with great interaction with all of the tourists. 5 stars! Definitely recommend!
The tour was one of the best we did in Italy. The guide was amazing and knowledgeable and did a great job of keeping us moving while giving us the time to explore. The Sistine Chapel is a must!
We had an amazing experience. Paula (Spanish speaking tour), our guide is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about what ahe does and professional. I have done this tour before, this one was the best!
If you book for several people and need to cancel a person from your group make sure they cancel the correct person. One of our group couldn’t go and they canceled the wrong person. The one who went couldn’t get in because the name on the ticket didn’t match the person. Also very crowded. Try going off season. Only had five minutes in Sistine Chapel. Very disappointed.
A lot to see in a short time. Unfortunately we got rushed through the Vatican museum, as im sure everyone on a tour does, but it doesn't allow for you to actually look at things. The rest of the tour was OK, but next time we might choose to do it on our own
Guides are friendly and knowledgeable. Added interesting context and value. They do a good job of communicating and reminding.
Our tour of the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica was nothing short of extraordinary. Every step felt like moving through layers of history, art, and human achievement that words can barely capture. The grandeur of St. Peter’s, with its soaring dome and intricate detail, was breathtaking in a way that photos never quite convey. And then the Sistine Chapel—standing beneath Michelangelo’s ceiling was a genuinely humbling moment, the kind that makes time feel like it slows down just enough for you to take it all in. What truly elevated the experience, though, was our guide, Zara. She had an incredible ability to bring everything to life—not just reciting facts, but weaving stories that made the art and history feel vivid and immediate. Her passion was obvious, and it made the entire tour more engaging and memorable. She struck that rare balance of being deeply knowledgeable while also warm, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic. It felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by someone who truly loves what she does—and that made all the difference.
Ambra was wonderful!! Very kind and knowledgeable. We loved every minute of it. The vastness of the Vatican is insane, and beautiful.
Tour guide was very personable and knowledgable. Vatican City sights can be overwhelming but guide made sure to hit highlights. I do think more could have been seen if we had not stopped so frequently however. This tour was actually organized by Crown Tours. Only note here is they tried to upsell us to $350 smaller group tour, max 20. We declined and discovered our current group was only 7 people lol. So I would skip any upgrades
