Descripción
Recojo en terminal del puerto de cruceros y/o hoteles en el área de Puntarenas. Realizamos recorridos en grupos pequeños con guías dedicadas y con mucho conocimiento. Este recorrido incluye los aspectos más destacados de la zona con un tiempo de conducción mínimo. Aprenderás mucho del país.

Visita a los mercados de granjeros, detente para ver cocodrilos de la carretera y el puente y también algunas aves agradables.
No hay caminatas, pero conduzca alrededor y a través de la selva tropical con una parada rápida para subirse a la camioneta del tour para tomar fotos del exuberante bosque, una increíble vista al mar sobre las copas de los árboles desde las colinas en una hermosa terraza con instalaciones y observación de animales.
Paradas en los mercados de agricultores y restaurante local con excelentes vistas desde las montañas.
El recorrido por la ciudad en Puntarenas, 30 minutos en automóvil y un par de paradas rápidas para tomar fotos, saltar de la camioneta en cada parada es opcional.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
9am o 9 : 30am hora de recogida en el puerto de Puntarenas o Caldera depende de su crucero. Bajo petición podemos recoger en casa o condominio de Puntarenas área. Por favor, encuéntrenos fuera del muelle por sus puertas, el guía llevará a cabo nuestro cartel de Odyssey tours leyendo el nombre del tour también y tendrá su nombre en una lista de verificación

The tour guide, Benny was very good in providing guide and information about Puntarenas and Costa Rica. We are only 4 ( 2 couples) in our tour group, so the tour was particularly catered to us. We visited the old town, the mountains, crocodile , monkeys and the birds( macaw) and also did some shopping . All in all it was a 5 hour tour.
I only gave it 1 star because they advised us the morning we were due to go that others had dropped out, and they couldn't take us alone without an upgrade to a private tour. We walked to the end of the pier and found a great tour guide who took us to all the sites and had a great time. Still waiting for a promised refund.
We booked this as a private shore excursion, instead of the ones offered by NCL, in large part because it offered a smaller group size. This allowed us into some locations that a large tour bus could not go. (ex monkey sanctuary, mountain restaurant, roadside pull-outs, etc.) Our guide, Hazel, was excellent. She was well-educated and well-informed and gave us an in-depth and personal experience. She also would adjust some portions of our tour to fit the needs and wishes of our smaller group. Hazel brought along a spotting scope and used it to help us see distant wildlife that our cameras could not reach. Only "down side" was there was not a lot of time for local shopping. We would do this tour again if we re-visit Costa Rica.
Tour was so much more than expected for the money. Our tour guide was Alex, the bus driver was Ricardo. Alex was a great guide who was very knowledgeable about the area. Sorry we only got to see 1 croc but lunch was very tasty. They tried very hard to show us whatever animals that appeared on the roadside. Great Tour!!
Wonderful! Monkeys, scarlet macaws, crocodiles, fresh mango samples, perfect place to stop to buy lunch, amazing guide, etc! Did SO much more than a cruise company tour, and for SO much less money.
Fantastic day out, lovely driver and host who took his telescope for wildlife watching, this was great. Lovely food at the restaurant we were taken to. Itinerary ran like clockwork. Would not hesitate in recommending this tour. Comfortable minibus, the right length of time at each stop and all questions answered about everything with knowledge and friendliness.
It's a scenic but not exciting day out, with shorter walks and a very nice lunch with opportunities to see the wildlife in the area.

The Tour Guide Hazel and Bus Driver were both friendly and informative. They took us on a great tour seeing different animals and parts of Costa Rica.
