I used holiday tours and travels for my tour to agra and the taj mahal. The office was next door to my hotel. Showkat was very helpful and kooked after my needs very well. He sorted all the details out and made it as easy as possible, he also offers lots of other services and exchanged some money for me as well as arranging an airport transfer for me. Anil the driver was prompt on the tour day and we made our way to agra in a timely fashion, with a stop off to allow me to have breakfast which was appreciated. We picked up my guide in agra, imran was exceptional, having been a guide for many, many years his knowledge is vast. His experience allows him to know the best photo spots and angles, the illusion he showed me in the agra fort was mind boggling. We visited the taj mahal, agra fort and baby taj. Anil and imran also managed to fit in two little side trips to a marble museum which showed how the craftsmen working on the taj manage to do the amazing inlays in the marble. A staggering amount of work is involved, quite brilliant. We also visited a rug manufacturer and same again fascinating process, superb detail and quality. Before leaving agra they let me visit somewhere for a late lunch and after bidding farewell to imran, anil dropped me back in delhi at my hotel. An amazing day and so glad i got to see the amazing taj mahal. Thanks to holidays tours and travels, well done to all of you. You really can't beat using the local knowledge wherever you visit it's invaluable
