Fantastic way to see the city. Covers all major sites. Long waits at some stops in the hot sun, but overall worth it!
Thank you so much for your great review for us at Big Bus Berlin!
The phrasing on Viator for this tour is misleading. It said that vouchers for currywurst was available with selected tickets. This was poorly worded English. It meant that with select tickets the currywurst voucher was available. But never did it say which tickets included it. From what I can tell, none on Viator include it. Better off booking direct with the company. AVOID THE RIVER CRUISE! It was a waste of time. Boring, confusing. The English narration didn’t line up with where you were at, so it was a constant guessing game. Really didn’t make sense. The bus tour itself was fine and a good way to get around to highlights. We wasted the entire morning and part of the afternoon on the river cruise. Didn’t get to see all we wanted with the bus.
We're glad to hear that you have enjoyed our bus tours. Apologies on behalf of Viator for the poor wording on their page. Having just checked that, the inclusions are actually quite clearly listed on each product option. A currywurst is included on our 48h and our 24h + walking tour options. The river cruise is not operated by Big Bus, we'll be sure to forward these comments to the operator BWSG. Apologies also on their behalf.
We got the tickets that are 48 hours and both red and blue route, plus choice of evening lights tour or Wall tour. First we did the red route, which has 17 stops. We only got off at 3 stops. We received ear buds (head phones) and heard a good supply of information through those while on the bus. There is not a Big Bus person at each stop to guide you or give information about the spot. We went to the East side gallery on our own (this involved a lot of walking along the wall) , with public transportation, so we decided to not do the blue route, even though we had tickets for it. There's not much on the blue route. The second day, we did the Wall bus tour, which is at 11:30 in the morning. The only option for getting off while on the Wall tour is 20 minutes at the memorial. (That memorial was near our hotel, so we spent an hour or more there the evening before.). The Red route is good, because you see a lot of things easily, not needing to find them all by public transportation. And the buses run frequently enough, that you can get off, look around, and get on again without major waiting. I would recommend the Wall tour if you want to see the East side gallery (Berlin Wall painted by artists) without walking along it.
Thank you for your comments.
The Big Bus Tour Berlin gave us a really good feel for the city and the location of it's key sites. The commentary and driver's additional comments also gave us ideas for further exploration which we really appreciated. We were impressed to also get a free walking tour and additional bus tour of the wall as part of the package.
That's so lovely to hear! On behalf of all of us at Big Bus Belrin - thank you!

That's so good to hear - thank you very much for your top review for us at Big Bus Berlin!
I like the hop on hop off buses to get my bearings and see all the main sights. Don’t forget to bring your headphones or you can use the provided ones. The app is a great way to check bus timings and get a bit more info about each stop.
Thank you so much for your lovely review for us at Big Bus Berlin!
We had a great time, this is an excellent way to see Berlin and get a feel for the city. The staff were all very helpful, the commentary was informative and gave just the right amount of information. We were able to get off the bus at the Brandenburg Gate and enjoyed the included curry worst! Excellent value for money would recommend this company.
Thank you so very much, we're happy that you enjoyed our tours so much! Hopefully we'll see you again soon at Big Bus!
Great way to see the city. We bought a 48 hr pass and chose the Berlin Wall Tour option. We felt like we saw it all! The bus commentary provides a really nice overview of the city and its history. Wait time was minimal since the app approximates each bus arrival. Hint: Even though the web says you can scan and go, you must get a printed ticket to be able to use the extras that come with this pass. Free bag, free food, Wall Tour each need a paper ticket to redeem. Have fun! It’s an amazing city.
Fantastic - thank you so very much for your lovely review for us at Big Bus Berlin! Hopefully we'll see you again soon at Big Bus in one of our many other cities!
Water of money! Evening tour photo ads show lovely lights but it leaves at 6pm though the sun doesn't set until 9:00! It was supposed to be in English BUT the guide did most of the tour speaking German with only a few seconds of English in each location. TERRIBLE guide!Just crowded busy streets, and mostly driving through blocks of former East Berlin. Very little history except discussion of The Wall.
Sorry that you didn't enjoy our evening tour as it wasn't dark enough at 6pm which is not something we have any influence over. This tour, showing more hidden corners of Berlin is meant as a supplement to our day tours which show all of the more iconic sights. Tour tour is conducted in english and german - hope you can understand that since we have a mix of international and domestic customers, the commentary is split evenly between the two languages.
