Tour a las Cascadas del Chiflón y Lagunas de Montebello
Descripción
Tour compartido en español. A partir de las 07:30 de la mañana recogemos a los pasajeros en su hotel. Duración 30 minutos. Tour en español. Debe llevar lunch, en el trayecto hacia las Cascadas el Chiflón no hay paradas para desayunar en restaurante. Duración de trayecto 2 horas y 30 minutos. En Cascadas el Chiflón hay 800 escalinatas para ver la Cascada Velo de Novia. En este centro ecoturístico se ofrece la actividad de tirolesa (costo no incluido), puede realizarlo para no bajar caminando. Nuestra siguiente parada sera las Lagunas de Montebello, se brinda tiempo para comer (no incluida), se visitara Laguna Internacional (divide México y Guatemala), Lago Tziscao, Lago Pojoj. Podras subir en una balsa (costo adicional) y remar con ayuda del lanchero para llegar al otro lado y poder nadar. Al finalizar el recorrido, regresaremos a San Cristóbal. * Recomendaciones: Llevar lunch. Traje de baño, toalla y efectivo.

Después del Pick up, nos trasladamos a las bellas cascadas "El Chiflón" donde haremos una caminata para ver las diferentes cascadas hasta llegar a "Velo de Novia" con una caída de más de 120mts de altura. En este sitio se puede observar una gran variedad de especies de Orquídeas, bromelias, árboles de sabino, árboles palomillo, chicozapote, cedro y caoba. Dentro de la fauna silvestre existente que se puede encontrar en la zona se pueden encontrar: iguanas, conejos, armadillos, serpientes y diversas aves.
Continuamos nuestro camino hacia el Parque Nacional Lagunas de Montebello visitando 5 lagunas como Tziscao, Internacional, Pojoj, 5 Lagos y la principal Montebello. Donde la comida se hará después de visitar las primeras dos lagunas, tiempo de comida 1 hora se recomienda los restaurantes típicos dentro del Parque Nacional Lagunas de Montebello, y posteriormente se recorren las últimos lagunas. El Parque Nacional Lagunas de Montebello, Ubicado en el municipio de La Trinitaria, Chiapas, México, lugar caracterizado por sus atracciones turísticas naturales, históricas y arqueológicas], belleza natural única en su tipo, por sus lagos de distintos colores, provocado por la misma naturaleza que lo rodea, simplemente un lugar mágico.
El lago Pojoj pertenece al parque nacional Lagunas de Montebello, una red de cuerpos de agua que se ubican en el municipio chiapaneco Trinitaria. Las lagunas sirven a la vez de límite de México con Guatemala. Lo primero que debes hacer en el lago Pojoj es dar un perfecto paseo en balsa, las cuales están hechas de troncos amarrados con lazos de fibras naturales. Lo emocionante de estas navegaciones es que todos los tripulantes deben de remar, lo que te permite disfrutar del sonido del agua, los ruidos del bosque y de paso hacer algo de ejercicio que de inmediato reanima.
El Lago Internacional se encuentra ubicada entre los límites de México y Guatemala (frontera). Se localiza a solo 2 km, partiendo desde la entrada principal del Ejido Tziscao. Lago Internacional forma parte de un sistema de 30 espectaculares lagunas donde se rehabilitaron y ampliaron el parador turístico con miradores, muelles, andadores, senderos, restaurantes y plaza de artesanías para atraer más visitantes nacionales y guatemaltecos, particularmente con el antiguo camino de piedra que une a México y Guatemala.

Time is too much, seats are uncomfortable. I spent more time in the Urvban than in the tourist landscapes. I think much more could be improved
Agradecemos su opinión, respecto de los tiempos, están perfectamente señalados en la descripción de la reserva, por otro lado, lamentablemente, para poder conocer algunas de las bellezas de Chiapas, tenemos desplazamientos largos pero que al final merece la pena. Tomamos en cuenta su opinión para tratar de mejorar los tiempo.
The Chiflon waterfalls were great, but we needed to stay with the group while we were there and got a little short time in my opinion. Montebello lakes are definitely not worth the long trip. The food over there was way overpriced (300 pesos for 2 coffee and 2 quesadillas), but you were left no choice. Felt like a tourist trap to me. The lakes themselves are not special. If I would do it again, I would look for an only el Chiflon tour

This was a very long day. But we’ll worth it. The waterfall was spectacular. I also went zip lining for the first time! The lakes were also so beautiful. The roads in all of Chiapas are littered with very large speed bumps. So be prepared for a bumpy bus ride. But we had a good driver. And we got to step into Guatemala!

The announced ride was completed on time, driver ok. 20 euros for the service is more than correct. However, you will have to add all the tips of the guides (chiflón waterfall and boatmaster) and the activity of the raft tour on the lagoon at 150 pesos. Moreover the place to eat at lunch is more than expensive for what it offers. A small plate of carne asada with frijol and rice for 120 pesos. In short, if we take all the expenses, the price of the tour almost doubles. So we have to provide cash.

Got picked up within the timeframe and hit the road toward the falls! The guide didn’t speak any English (when I booked I had selected the English option though) It’s almost 3 hr drive to the falls, no bathroom breaks, can’t eat on the bus and the seats aren’t the most comfortable. Once we arrived at the falls we had 2 hrs to explore which was a bit rushed if you wanted to see all the falls and also relax and try to grab some food and eat before getting back on the bus. The second stop was at a lake and we were first told it was a 20 minute stop, then 30 minutes then a hr…..You have the option to go on a boat tour but you are expected to paddle the boat so it’s not a relaxing experience but it is beautiful. At this stop you can get lunch but if you don’t speak Spanish it’s impossible to understand what anyone is saying because everyone was speaking very fast. The last stop is another lake that borders Guatemala and it’s very beautiful but we weren’t given a time frame for when to be back at the bus so after wandering around for a bit the driver found all of us and we left for the almost 4 hr drive with no bathroom breaks, got back to hostel at 1030pm. It’s a very long day, the locations are beautiful but be prepared and bring your own lunch!
