Interesting history, beautiful horse, friendly driver, centrally located in Victoria definitely recommend and extremely relaxing
This was a great tour that showed some important spots and shared the history of Victoria. Fender was great and so was Kiera (I hope I spelled that correctly), our guide!
Victoria Carriage Tours was very clear in communication and provided an excellent experience. Just us -- one couple. Our guide, Grace, was delightful. She managed Fender, our Clysdale, with great skill. Her narrative was great. We could not have enjoyed her tour more. We highly recommend.
We had a very short cruise stop and chose to do this tour since we didn't know the city well and we were visiting at dusk. So glad we did. Our guide was extremely informative and told us some amazing stories about the areas history. Jack, our horse, was super sweet as well. Highly recommend.
Our tour was very lovely. We were given a great history lesson on Victoria as well as going by all the historic homes and businesses, our Driver was very knowledgeable. She was very kind and made sure that we were comfortable the whole trip. Carson the horse, was wonderful. We were amazed at how he followed the voice commands exactly. If you have a chance to go on a tour while in Victoria, I would choose this company.
We had a great experience. Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. It does get pretty chilly near the ocean, we went in late May.
Cassidy was very polite and friendly host for our event. however, the weather was a bit chilly and I would advise others to dress appropriately. also the place is not near the cruise dock and the cab charged us flat fee of $15 each way. we prefer this to booking in groups where 25 people get toured. in our situation, as it got cold, we asked Cassidy to take a shortcut back to home which may not have been possible in a group ride.
This was a great nighttime tour of the city for a short time here with a cruise stop. Guide was great, all kinds of information about the town and history. Glad to know the horses are loved and well taken of too.
We signed up for the 75 minute carriage tour that was supposed to include Chinatown and other areas. Most of our tour was spent in the historic district looking at old homes. It was nighttime, so we really couldn’t see much of anything. My biggest issue was we were unable to hear our driver as she did not have a microphone. Our other group in a different carriage had a driver with a microphone, which would have been much better. I would not advise taking this tour at night as you basically can’t see anything other than the lights on the government building. We couldn’t hear anything the driver said.
Wonderful ride around Victoria with our tour guide Claire. We were treated to many of the historic sights and fantastic views.
