Our group was invited by the Amerika Samoa National Flag Football Federation (ASNFF) to conduct a Talent ID Combine, sponsored by the Support Network for Athletes of Pacific Islands (SNAP Foundation), and to participate in the Ancestral Games in American Samoa from June 22–29, 2026. JoJo's Getaway in Futiga, American Samoa was the only property able to accommodate our group of 14 people, as the Trade Winds Hotel did not have enough available rooms for our team. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and the property met our group's needs in several important ways: • The spacious two-story home was clean, comfortable, and centrally located, making it convenient for our daily activities. • A US Mart and a 24-hour laundromat were located just a short walk (approximately 100 yards) from the house. • Parking was excellent and easily accommodated our 15-passenger van and two pickup trucks, along with all of our sports equipment and luggage. A few things future guests—especially larger groups—may find helpful to know: • The home has one refrigerator, which may be limiting for larger groups. Bringing one or two ice chests is a great way to provide additional space for drinks and perishable items. • Microwave was broken and a new one was to be installed after we left. • Electricity operates on a prepaid debit meter. We found it helpful to keep cash on hand for refills at the nearby US Mart. For our week-long stay with 14 people, we reloaded the meter two and half times, so having approximately $250 in cash available was beneficial. • Travelers should also be aware that flights between Honolulu and Pago Pago operate only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Arriving flights land around 9:20 p.m., while departing flights leave around 11:20 p.m. Because of these schedules, it's a good idea to discuss early check-in and late check-out options with your host before your trip. In our case, we paid an additional $790 (cash only) to extend our stay so our group could remain at the house until it was time to leave at 8:00 pm for the airport. Factoring this possibility into your travel budget can help avoid unexpected expenses. For larger groups, we also recommend bringing a few extra household essentials (these were not included): • Additional toilet paper • Shampoo and conditioner • Bath or shower soap • A hair dryer • Paper towels or dish towels for the kitchen • Additional dish soap • Confirm with hostess all the amenities listed and the amount available Overall, JoJo's Getaway provided a clean, spacious, and convenient home for our group of 14. With a little advance planning and a few extra supplies, it can be an excellent choice for large groups visiting American Samoa. We appreciate the opportunity to stay there and hope these recommendations help future guests make the most of their visit.

Booked a balloon ride over the hills of tuscany for my girlfriend’s birthday. We’ve both never been on a balloon ride before so we were both nervous. We had Weido as our pilot and he was brilliant, very experienced and great fun. It was an absolute amazing experience. We will definitely do another hot air balloon ride and would highly recommend balloon team Italia.
