Tras la recogida en el hotel, su primera parada será en el estadio del Panathinaikos, cuna de los primeros Juegos Olímpicos modernos, que tuvieron lugar en 1896.
Pasará por el Parlamento griego en el antiguo palacio real de la plaza Syntagma y observará los extravagantes guardianes Evzones vestidos con sus llamativas túnicas. Continuará hasta el majestuoso Zappion Conference Center en los Jardines Nacionales de Grecia. Siga paseando por el templo romano de Zeus Olímpico, el Arco de Adriano y la Tumba del Soldado Desconocido, custodiada por más Evzones. Pasará por el hermoso Museo Numismático que alberga la casa de Schlieman, la catedral católica de Atenas, la Trilogía Neoclásica de Atenas y, por último, la Acrópolis (con vistas también del Areópago y el Teatro de Dionisos), donde visitará las monumentales puertas de mármol de los Propileos, los templos de Atenea Niké y el Partenón. Verá el famoso Pórtico de la Cariátides en el Erecteion.
Continúe con un corto y agradable paseo pasando por el teatro Herodion y Dionysos, para visitar el nuevo Museo de la Acrópolis. Albergando multitud de descubrimientos arqueológicos de la Acrópolis, las principales atracciones incluyen votivas, objetos de la vida cotidiana, estatuas antiguas, las Cariátides y la sala del Partenón con exposiciones de los frontones, el metopas y el friso.

We had such a great time doing this tour! Our tour guide Sophia was so knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to accommodate my mom who was a little slower since she had a broken toe! It was amazing and I couldn’t have been happier! Having a private guide really gives you a personal experience and you get to enjoy the acropolis way more! I would most definitely recommend!
Demetrius was the best! He was so knowledgeable and shared so much history and knowledge with us. Demetrius and the driver both went out of their way to assist when 2 in the group overdid it and needed assistance getting back to the car.
Anna was fantastic. She assured that she met the needs of every member of our party. She even kept us entertained during the long wait at the Acropolis. Our driver Leo also went the extra mile to satisfy our needs. Highly recommended

Pickup as scheduled. Christine (guide) and Harry (driver) were personable and accommodating, adjusting pace to suit the group. Christine was very knowledgeable and presented information in a relatable, engaging way. Because a private tour, we were able to change out one stop on the itinerary for a drive to the highest point in Athens where we enjoyed a spectacular panoramic view of the City. A memorable experience, well worth the money. Highly recommend.
Our guide, Anna, and driver, Chris, were both wonderful! Having a private tour is well worth the cost. We were picked up and returned to our hotel. One of us has difficulty walking and they made it easy for us to see everything up close and at our pace. Anna’s clear explanations and stories taught us so much. The views were spectacular.
