We had the pleasure of exploring Stockholm for two days with our private guide, Hans, along with 10 friends. Everything worked sensationally well. We had a well-maintained minibus, a good driver, and Hans was a motivated, entertaining, and thoroughly informed guide; he truly had an answer for every question! Moreover, his English was excellent. It was a joy to experience his love for Stockholm and its history. The tour was individually planned for us; we had an exceptionally fun time over the two days, and our group was completely thrilled!

Cruise ship stops are like buying a greatest hits album: This tour of Stockholm with Thomas was one that makes us want to return and return we will. Port pickup and tour of Stockholm was perfect and a full day full of events and places! Lunch was great and off the beaten path which was very much welcomed. Everything we wanted to see with only one day in Stockholm. Choose this tour especially if you have a cruise stop and don’t want to deal with the big bus cruise ship tour.

Our guide, Thomas, gave us lots of information and had a great personality. He answered all our many questions and gave us a great feel for Stockholm and its residents. Vehicle was comfortable and plenty of space for 7 plus the driver. Thomas choice a lovely place for a relaxing lunch. Our only suggestion is that there be some bottled water available. We did not think to bring our own.
Maureen, Thanks for your fine review. I must remember to tell my clients that there always is water in the car. The bottles can sometimes be missed because they are in the "pockets" in the doors, and can be hard to see. I wish you would have asked me so I could have had a chance to provide this for you, but this is great for me to hear, so I can get better at my information. Welcome back to Sweden !
We saw all of the main tourist sites but we especially loved that this private tour took us to places that we wouldn’t normally have seen like the gardens where people can rent a plot of land, have a small house on it, and they can go there during their free time to grow these beautiful gardens. We saw several embassies from different countries as well as many churches, monuments and important buildings. Thomas was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Stockholm. We learned so much about this amazing city. We especially liked the Vasa Museum and he gave us our own private tour while we were there. The Ice Bar was a fun stop and we had a wonderful lunch in this lovely restaurant that is off the beaten path. We weren’t interested in shopping during the tour, but he showed us places we could come back to later. I would highly recommend this tour to get a good overview of Stockholm or if you only have a short time here. Not only was Thomas an amazing tour guide, it’s so nice to have the flexibility to do what you want and not have to worry about other people on the tour.
Dear Frank and Teri, I was great getting to know you during this day and I could really tell that you are interested in politics, culture, history and life in general. It was great to hear that you especially likes some of the "off the beaten tracks" spots and the restaurant.
